I'm just as sick of these Harvin threads as the next guy, but I had a thought tonight and wanted to run it past you. I read a report that said that Harvin came in today feeling great and optimistic about this week at practice. Does that not make any of you scratch your head? Everything worked out great, we won big, we didn't need Percy Harvin, but what if we had? Doesn't it make you sort of question what the heck is going on if #11 is feeling good one day after our biggest game of the year?
Harvin was pillaged by the Minnesota media and beat writers for his ailments, missed practices, ect...It's been said by many that it's clear that Harvin doesn't enjoy practicing.
Here's my thought: Perhaps the front office made a decision internally that says if he doesn't get in at least a few good practices during the week, he doesn't play? This would set a precedence for his whole tenure here and not create dissension from other players.
I have a feeling Percy wanted to play last night, and it was the coaching staff that said he wasn't playing, not Percy.
