There are some fans that question the weakness of the Seattle Seahawks, and if you are one of them, I hope you read this.
The only weakness we have... is ourselves. That is clear from a team perspective and from a fan-base perspective. As fans our jobs are to expect greatness, encourage greatness, and reward greatness. Champions are not born without someone or something to champion.
The great legions of Rome, had the glory of Rome to champion. The great warriors of ancient Greece, had Greece and the grace of their gods to champion. Our forefathers here in America fought against tyranny, against deception, and against a perception that men should bear burdens they have no voice to oppose.
Our men fight for the thousands of voices that have cried out for a champion for far too long. Our men fight with a legion of their own; a legion that needs no gods, but has territory to fight for. Our men fight against oppression, defy deception, and oppose perception; not only with their voices as weapons, no... our boys fight with the battle cry of millions that are tired of being passed on, told that they cannot do something, and have been left out in the cold for far too long.
We show up on game day with a purpose, and that is another shot at glory; another shot at silencing those that doubt us, and another shot at being champions.
Note: My take at a Battle Cry... Might be a bit deep, but I hope you enjoy it.
