Just watching a highlight film of our championship season and got to the 4th down stop by the hawks to ice the game for us against the rams and there is so much cool stuff there. First of all McVay coming out right away and calling the play a fortuitous bust… what a sore loser. It was certainly not a bust. Mcvay ran the same play twice. Demarcus Lawrence knew the play. Just cause D-Law didn’t do what he conventionally was supposed to do doesn’t make it a bust. Second, D-Law explained what he saw on the play, and he said that the running back made no attempt to read if Julian love was rushing and that told D-Law that the rb was Staffords #1 read. Same play as earlier and this time D-Law could see it coming. You could see Love almost over pursue on the play which would have left the RB wide open but D-Law stepped into the throwing lane and destroyed the play. If anyone busted that play it was the rams for doing it twice and the RB for not selling that he was a blocker. D-Law just knew it was coming. In the words of the great Jack Sparrow, "The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do and what a man can't do"
Imma watch it again!!!! Woo that was awesome!!!
