3rd and 14, you know it's a run or short pass

This was the play that blew my mind where it's virtually certain that Dallas needs to keep the clock running and will run or throw short but we had guys at the back of the endzone? Stack the box and very likely they get 5 yards max. This among a number of play calls were just downright perplexing.

Yep. Where were our all world linebackers (and a safety) on that play? If they stay “at home” no way Dak gets a first down there. There were at least 2 players out of position on that play. A total defensive break down.

 

[West TX Hawk]

If we stop them there, hold them to a FG, we still have a legitimate chance to win. Inexcusable to either have that that semi prevent defense on that play or our guys were improvising and playing back in the endzone for no good reason. That open lane in the middle was just sickening.
