Thanks Kitsap! updating.

That move I didn’t expect except that Bellore is a solid ST player.

Apologies for even asking this question, but in terms of injured/suspended players, how do we know when and if they are eligible to return to active duty during this season?

I know the PUP and IR lists are different

I know if you go on IR it depends on WHEN you go on IR (this is the most confusing part to me)

I know you have like 3 weeks once someone comes off IR to decide whether to add them to the 53-man roster

Throw in suspensions, NFI, etc and it's super confusing.

Like, for example:

Phil Haynes
Jordan Simmons
Ed Dickson

When are these guys eligible to move to the active roster, and why?

There is a difference between IR and IRr, the later allows for the players return after they are healthy again. If a player is IR’ d at final cuts they are not eligible for return, but where they were on the roster after the cuts to 53 then IR’d they are eligable for return when cleared from their injury. A player cannot practice with the team to be eligible to be placed on PUP , so both Haynes and Christmas have not practiced with the team. PUP’d players are out for a minimum of 6 regular season games before they can be returned and the suspended players are suspended for the length of their respective suspensions. Reed is suspended for 6 games, which is listed with his roster info.

I don’t think you are right about IR returns but you are correct for the timing of whether player counts for a roster spot with a PUP’d player.

Haynes and Christmas are PUP players and eligible for return after 6 games

Simmons is an IR player and not eligible for return. He could be waived and if he clears waivers re-signed.

Dickson is an IRr player and eligible for return when healthy.

Yeah and no FB on the roster, still we have juggling to do, Griff 2.0 could still end up on IR when they get the full story on his knee and Calitro brought back.

Agree and expect 'Quem to potentially be IR'd which could allow for the return of Calitro if he clears waivers.

The team's official announcement on these last 4 signings to the PS was delayed oddly as numerous official sites were reporting the players as signed.

Thanks for posting that KItsap.

The numbers at LDE/5 tech and WR seem inflated, and light at TE so time will tell if there are more moves to come before the first game.

Thanks for the detailed reply!

Glad to hear that Haynes will be eligible, I'm personally a bit worried about Iupati's heath and Pocic as his backup and was hoping Haynes would beat him out. hopefully the power he's added makes a big difference

No worries A-Dog, some of this stuff is hard to figure out even for old dogs like me.

Thanks Kitsap!

Interesting and positive acquisition, think Jones could be a better backup than Smith.

Updated.

Thanks Kitsap!

I'll hold off from adding Nickerson to the PS until the team or some source announces he's cleared waivers and been re-upped to the PS.
