Round 1 • Pick 29 (29) • DE- L.J. Collier, TCU, high ankle/foot? sprain missed most of TC and may miss regular season time
Round 2 • Pick 15 (47) • SS- Marquise Blair, Utah, hamstring injury lost most of camp, now back spasms, has him behind in assignment responsibility
Round 2 • Pick 32 (64) • WR- DK Metcalf, Miss. knee injury needing arthroscopic surgery will now miss preseason time and maybe first regular season game.
Round 3 • Pick 25 (88) • LB - Cody Barton, Utah, groin sprain missed a few days of camp
Round 4 • Pick 18 (120) • WR- Gary Jennings, WVU, hamstring injury resulted in missing most of TC
Round 4 • Pick 22 (124) • OG- Phil Haynes, Wake Forest, sports hernia surgery is likely to miss regular season play
Round 4 • Pick 30 (132) • FS- Ugo Amadi, Oregon, Hamstring pull caused missed rookie minicamp
Round 5 • Pick 4 (142) • LB- Ben Burr-Kirven, UW, sports hernia injury surgery recovery, missed significant preseason time
Round 6 • Pick 32 (204) • RB- Travis Homer, Miami, hamstring/quadraceps? injury missed significant training camp time
Round 6 • Pick 37 (209) • DT- Demarcus Christmas, FSU, unknown back injury is on PUP
Round 7 • Pick 22 (236) • WR- John Ursua, Hawaii, hamstring injury caused missed rookie minicamp
Every single draft pick has suffered one injury or another. I can't remember a preseason where the team has had their rookies as nicked up. The team has sure had a lot of injuries this preseason and not only just to the rookies.
