Went to the game last night... Im not a huge baseball guy. Im the type that if I were the same about Seahawks we would hate..total fair weather fan, and just decided to follow the Mariners because it involves a lot less research if youre a Seahawks fan. Anyway, it was a great game. The Nats are so legit and I feared the worse but was pretty impressed with Mariners baseball. The CF ..Jackson? excellent. Late game, James Jones showed he will be a valuable September asset.
Cant say I liked the DH though.. D-something.. thats the best they can do at DH? Plan on hitting a couple games next week after the Oakland roadtrip. Pretty fun to have meaningful baseball to watch between Hawk games!

It was Denorfia last night. He is our utility guy, but mainly plays RF. Basically our Bloomquist replacement and the RF until Saunders returns.

Ah. Ok. Man, he sucks. Didnt really look like he was giving MLB-class at bats.

Going to watch todays game on TV, hopefully he is sitting.

Would have been nice to have Denorfia in RF on that Dunn HR. Endy looked like he had never played outfield before.

Go Mariners, and keep this thread on top since at least they have a chance.

Soccer?...c'mon man, there are about 5 people in here that debate it constantly, but really, why don't you turn your attention to something that matters? Do you think people give a shit about some epl league, what is that?

Not trying to diss you but why?

Maybe.Net needs a soccer forum, for 5 guys to debate who is sold, and how someone else bites someone?...Seriously, nobody cares.

here come the flames, I have nomex underwear Si, Peaches etc.

The Sounders are the best team in MLS right now. They matter. Your opinion about soccer does not.

Really ripped them open with two outs in the third. The Mariners really got deep into the Rangers bullpen as well which nodes well for them in a four game series.

Detroit's 7 run 11th was a bit of a downer but a great all around performance by the hitters...set up well for the next three like you said.

What do you guys think of Denorfia vs Chavez in RF? Obviously either way RF remains an area of concern for us, and I realize Denorfia had a great game yesterday, but otherwise he has really struggled at the plate.
