So I feel like this is gonna be a safe place for bashing the mariners since they won’t do it themselves….

Foolio
Dipbozo
All mitches
Stanton sucks

Honestly I started this out of frustration at Julio’s struggles and I worry he might be broken. He might not have the baseball IQ to adjust. Sometimes even in the field I see him make mental errors from processing. His athletic talent is off the charts but I’ve seen other true center fielders show us what it looks like and Julio never gives me that confidence that the home run is not gonna bounce over off his glove. @SoulfishHawk is gonna have fun with this….

I agree that something is broken. I wish I knew what, but like I said in my post the ball comes off his bat oddly. Williamson does that to a point as well but Julio does it while still hitting it 105 mph. Just odd. I have been watching baseball since '75 and I can't remember a comparison to what he is going through. Young, strong, athletic but looks lost with bad bat to ball reaction. Headscratcher.

I swear all he needs to do is not swing until he has two strikes. I don’t care what he sees he needs to be broken into being patient

I really love this kid, one of my all time favorite mariners and I really root for him to mature here into a big poppi

I feel like he's tried to "adjust" too much to become "better" from his first season.. when he just needed to keep that up... gather some IQ knowing people will pitch you a certain way and thats it..

He also has the problem as Williamson... I saw him tonight, literally CLOSED EYE swing and get his hit... was crazy.... what happened to basics?

We all want him to do well, don't read into it any other way, it's
very frustrating to see him struggle with the talent he has.
There is no reason the Ms should not have a better record if he just
hits better, walks more and steals the way he always had.
I was so high on him off that first year too..
Maybe it's a lesson learned as to why the Ms are slowly moving Montes
and others..

I, as much anyone, hope Julio figures it out. His athleticism and talent is off the charts. I’ll have to look closer at what Stanton said about the ball coming off the bat strange. I can see he has very minimal plate discipline.

Cal Raleigh can’t do what he’s doing this year every year so we need people to step up. Julio did it his rookie year and spurts of previous years. The struggle for him though is more the norm rather than the exception unfortunately.

I don’t know about the ball coming off strange. I just don’t think he is seeing the ball. He’s guessing and swinging at a spot

That Robbie Ray trade is killing us

The cherry on top of that fiasco of a trade is that the M's are paying Haniger $15.5 million to sit at home and not play this season. Only Julio and Castillo are being paid more. Haniger is literally our 3rd highest paid player, lol.

Another brilliant move by Jerry.

No no no...... The absolute sweetest Dopey Jerry Cherry on top is the fact that he acquired that wasted $15mil just to allegedly scrimp on a few mil $ for "flexibility". Eventually he moved the other damaged arm pitcher in that deal along with prospects to Minnesota for a clearly declining at that time Jorge Polanco. DiBozo the 🤡 is the gift that keeps on exploding in your face upon opening.

Does it count as bashing if it's a reasonable, valid, and pretty widely held opinion?

It's not bashing.... It's being realistic. It's called not buying the organizational brainwash. Dave Simms endlessly creamed his Depends in the booth nite after nite over Foolio coming up empty. In 2023, I remember DiBozo the 🤡 saying contention was planned for 2024. Didn't win the division then, won't win it in 2025 & Houston wants to give it away. Everyone knows the M's are desperate, there's no way DiBozo can pull off deals for the multiple pieces they need (reliever, possible starter, 1-2 positional offensive upgrades) without paying that other teams price.

I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or flip a table. It's just such an astonishing level of incompetence it's hard to comprehend.

Julie or Foolio..... Either way, he should easily have 30-40 steals by now with all those mostly infield singles.
