So the Rockies took Ethan Holliday. I’ve heard some mixed reviews on him. Do you think they took him out of respect to Matt Holliday? If that were true and he doesn’t pan out what a tough spot to be in, were they compelled to take Ethan? Imagine if Griffey had a kid in the top of the draft and he fell to Seattle and we don’t take him! Outrage
No. That helps of course but he was rated the #1 guy for almost a year. Plus his brother with Orioles. The kid can play.

Stock pile valuable assets. Jerry has been there so long he has absolutely no excuse to not have a stockpile of everything considering not a lot have been called up. Well, Logan Kirby woo Bryce, Julio, cal, Munoz but he wasn’t a draft pick, but Jerry traded for him when he was injured and waited a year for him, and now colt and Williamson, I guess Jerry deserves a little credit for his players. We need a grown man hitter. Solano is the closest thing, arozorena and polonco. Cal is more of a grown man hitter than all of them and he’s still a kid! One bopper who doesn’t strike out behind cal and it would make this lineup a lot better

I mean why hasn’t ford been called up, really
Because he'd never get to play behind Cal. 🤷‍♂️

Better to keep him in AAA playing every day and honing his skills.

I could definitely see Ford as trade bait now. Maybe this year, maybe next. Maybe they give it a year to see how this new kid pans out, but he's a valuable asset we could use at the trade deadline.

Can someone help me out with one thing. I've been fine with Dipoto until the last two off seasons. I can't argue with the likes of Cal, Gilbert, Julio, Kirby, Woo, etc.., as draftees and pickups. I liked the trade for Castillo when we were primed to make a run. Even getting Suarez and that other guy for a couple of prospects panned out, more or less. Our farm system went from one of the worst to one of the better ones under his reign after YEARS of ineptitude. Yeah, he's a gaslighting arrogant prick, but the results until recently seemed positive to me. Until the last two off seasons, it's ownership who were the target of my almost my entire wrath as concerns the franchise right down to the media fiasco. So much so I wanted to scream as an M's fan.

Dan has called up the right guys put them where they are . We have been hitting like crazy and I've never seen better averages for our lineups. Now if somehow got Suarez in this lineup we will hit. Or some other good hitter. I'm optimistic. Then there's Robles and Bliss. Williamson and Young, good things are happening

Even if his bat was a threat you think they’d leave him?

That other guy…. Jesse winker…. That guy was doomed here from the moment he tried to take over the broadcast and call the game and the first pitch was a homerun by the other team
