City scored but there may have been a player in an offside position that the ball went though the legs of.

Massive loss for City.

Things slipping away for Pelligrini. Have to assume peaches he loses his job without the title

You're the only one I've heard it from, and it's bollocks. Just because you're relaying it doesn't mean you aren't thinking it.

Truly a dizzying intellect on the kid...

Arsenal has to win the FA Cup now. If they don't, it's gonna be next to impossible to make a case to justify giving Wenger a new contract if they do give him one.

Arsenal will find any reason to keep hold of Wenger. They dont want a change, despite the frustrations of the fans. Whether its an FA Cup or top 4. Really, the only way he loses his job is if they finish outside the top 4 (which is very unlikely). Theres just too much money lost there

Looking ahead, if they take the FA Cup this season, but drop out of the CL this week and finish 4th (putting them in the "play-in" round of the CL) Wenger will have a much more difficult task

That's why I said that not winning the FA Cup will result in it being nearly impossible to justify it.

I understand that. The thing is, 9 seasons without a trophy and having just good finishes, and not great or amazing, would make it difficult for people to justify keeping him.

I agree..he's had the longest shelf life of any manager in the world. But I think Arsenal the club (not fans) are very content with top 4.

And despite giving you a hard time about it there is nothing wrong with consistently nailing in that CL group.

Wenger makes the club lots of money

Arsenal will finish higher than Liverpool and will win the FA Cup.

Liverpool fans can bask in the glory of Sturridge being better than Giroud or something.

Ta very much, Chelsea. Need City to drop points now. Yeeeeooooo!

Two massive games tomorrow. Gate - what are your expectations? Also, rumors abound back home that Arsenal are going to try to cut their losses and move Ozil along this summer, possibly for as little as 20 million. Your thoughts?

Oh Mourinho....showing his colors.

Tomorrow just got bigger.

No Ozil, Ramsey or Wilshere for Arsenal. Makes it tougher. But Spurs are mediocre. No less than a draw fro the Gunner's

Liverpool hosting Chelsea likely decides the league this year. Mental.

That or the City match. Either way there are some massive games coming up for all the top 4...starting tomorrow.

Mertesacker is a third goalpost today. MOTM for Arsenal for sure. Arsenal have been terrible all game, Spurs should be ashamed not to take at least a point here. Ridiculous.

In before...

Wonder goal blah blah blah derby game blah blah blah should have scored two more blah blah blah title race blah blah...

I don't even give a crap about the performance! Spurs should've scored multiple times, especially those two psycho moments at the start of the 2nd half. Spurs had the better performance but IDGAF!

Way to live up to expectations there, Gate.

Anyway, so it would appear that the top 4 is now set in stone, now it's just jockeying for position the rest of the way. Huge match next weekend between Chelsea and Arsenal. I can't see anything but a Chelsea win at the bridge. They'll know they no longer control their own destiny, and will want to bounce back after losing to Villa like that. Liverpool and City both have potentially tough fixtures against Cardiff and Fulham. This time of year, bottom-table teams are dangerous. Either way, one or the other or both of Chelsea and Arsenal are going to drop points on Saturday. Keeping things interesting for sure!

No Ramires, no Willian and likely no Mourinho on the bench.
