Unfortunately, I know so many people who have bought Beats headphones. They're pretty much all 18-23 years old, and aren't audiophiles. Every time someone I know buys Beats, I cringe.

There are SO many pairs of headphones out there at a fraction of the price that have better sound quality and are manufactured at a much higher standard.

Even Sony Professional headphones that go for $85-$100 are better headphones than ANY Beats on the market.

This commercial is completely disgraceful, though. I think the Seahawks should send Beats Electronics a cease and desist order.

Reading through the comments on that page.....whiner fans trying to say to "take our loss", that we're only saying something because we lost the game Sunday. Delusional. I didn't like it from the moment I first saw it. It has absolutely ZERO to do with who won that friggin' game!

Old adage- there is no bad advertising.

I think you meant to say that there's no such thing as bad publicity.
Speaking as an ex-ad-exec, there is definitely some BAD advertising out there.

There is a part of me that's flattered that the 12th man has this aura of intimidation and is featured in a national ad, I just didn't appreciate that it was blatantly inaccurate. Yes, the 12th man represents the most passionate fans in the league, but we're not barbaric and violent.

Oh, and here ya go Hawknballz

That's what you pay for when you buy Beats--marketing. People that know better buy real headphones.
:13:

Beats are not even close to being the best, but they do win for most overpriced

Though Beats sound good and are cool looking, they are very fragile atleast from my experiences. They have a headphone jack problem and looking at numerous reviews there were a ton of people saying the same thing. I went through 3 headphones in a month by exchanging at best buy.

Anyways, Krappernick hates the 12 volume and he knows it.

it's just a commercial. If it was Russell in San Fran blocking out their fans, all of you complaining would be shouting praise and demanding we all buy those stupid headphones. it's a commercial, get over it, nobody actually thinks Seattle fans are like that. Everyone still thinks we are coffee drinking, beanie hat in the summer wearing, losers.

I thought it was his home crowd with him returning after his putrid performance in Seattle. Pretty much sums up the opinion his fans have had of him recently as well as the thuggary of the Niner fan base.

Maybe it would have been clearer if they showed some stabbings in the commercial.

Exactly what everyone has been talking about as far as quality. Cheap Chinese garbage that uses bad advertising like the ad that started this thread. They promote them to the young and impressionable people who just have to have the latest, greatest thing, even if it is junk.

You could probably get better quality at the dollar store. I just laugh when I see someone with these.

Wilson was wearing beats during Sunday warm ups, just saying.

For the commercial, I think they could have just chosen neutral fans. Seems a bit rude to target and characterize the 12th man that way.

Players, especially high profile ones, get this crap for free. A lot of the time they get paid to wear stuff even if they are not in commercials.

Companies that have cheap made products do this kind of thing on a regular basis. What is the most recognized e-cig available? Blu? Those are just about as bad as you can get in quality, yet everyone has heard of them because they spend money advertising.

Why spend money making a good product when you can just advertise the heck out of garbage and people will buy it anyway?

When you are the best fans in the NFL there is a target on your back. Just like when you are the best team. Other fans can't stand us. That's good. They want the atmosphere and the passion we have. Too bad it only exists in Seatttle. I don't really care if there is an obvious dramatization that essentially acknowledges how badass Hawk fans are. Just shows we are in their heads.

Speak for yourself, the thought is utterly repugnant regardless of which fans are being portrayed. My impression of anyone who could like that is a classless thug with no integrity or (unselfish) morals.

Hahaha I like the Seahawks "director's cut"
and you can tell those aren't real Washingtonians because they're using umbrellas!

and you can tell Kap is an idiot for wearing a leather jacket in a torrential downpour...

Wow seriously guys grow up.

I have the Beats Studio Wireless and I love it. The wireless capacity on it is so awesome.

For those that say it sucks, let me ask you this do you have one?

yes. I had a pair of the first beats audio solo (gift from my girl) and they sounded great til they were blown after about 2 weeks..."gave" them to her and got some Beyerdynamic DT 770 pros for roughly the same price and they are incredible and German made with modular parts so you can replace them as they break down
also have a pair of AIAIAI tma-1s that completely blow beats out of the water
