Again not saying Geno is the long-term answer but he's not the only problem on this team and he's not the biggest problem on this team.

Have you watched Goff play?? He turtles just about every game.
Goff makes way less mistakes than Geno. I've watched a few of his games and at this point he's much better in that regard. All the stats support that as well. Don't get me wrong he still makes some bizarre mistakes for sure but man Geno this year is on another level to me.

Not THE problem, but a massive problem.
Agree to disagree I guess. Geno is a problem but I think the OLine is a much bigger issue that needs to be fixed first.

The 2025 draft is thin at QB and the Hawks pick is currently #17, not likely to find the QBotF there and not likely to see JS trade up. If he were going to trade up last year was the year for that. So he either he sits tight until 2026 or he looks at FA. The likelihood that he finds the QBotF in FA is low. Although Darnold happened, so it is possible. Seems more likely that we address areas of need like OLine and some spots on Defense in the off season and then QB later.

I absolutely wanted them to bring in Baker.

GENO: 3,937 YARDS, 17 TD'S, 15 INTERCEPTIONS

BAKER: 3,920 YARDS, 34 TD'S, 15 INTERCEPTIONS

Yes Baker's stats this season are looking very nice and I would take him over Geno based on what I've seen him do over the last 2 seasons. But when he was in Cleveland I was not high on Baker and many others weren't either. His stats were middling.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
Definitely. If all those things that didn't go Geno's way went Geno's way, and he hadn't made all those other dumb throws that probably left points on the board, and factoring in that those dropped INTs weren't Geno's fault for reasons I'm sure other people will figure out and let us know, and everyone else had played better, and more of the home fans showed up, and the sun wasn't in Geno's eyes, and we had just given the ball to Marshawn, then everyone is calling Geno a bigger hero than Guitar Hero and he's the MVP frontrunner, causing Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson to commit sudoku in shame.

Hypothetically, Geno won that game even harder than Alabama and Ole Miss won the College Football Playoff.
"commit sudoku" is hilarious!

4-1 pass run ratio. They're asking him to do way too much. He's not Tom Brady.
not entirely accurate they were doing lots of throws out of the backfield which count as runs in my book

Mayfield was progressing fantastically in Cleveland until he played hurt his third year, which was admirably at the time, but he probably regrets doing now for a franchise that didn't deserve it. I was in favor of throwing a round pick at the Browns, but after the way he looked with the Panthers and Rams, I thought he was done. I didn't want Geno either though.

This doesn't seem consistent with what happened in Carolina or LA. Again there were a lot of questions about Baker prior to the 2023 season. Clearly he needed the right organizational fit and I'm glad he got it. It's not fun to think about that missed opportunity and what his production might have meant here vs. Geno, but there's no guarantee it would have worked under PC/JS.

I'm sure its posted here but I wanted Baker in Seattle. He had one good year in Cleveland and showed some flashes with the Rams for me. But I just like the way he plays so was probably a little biased.

No doubt. He's tough as nails, he cares a LOT out there. There's just something about him as a QB that I would love to see here.
