Thoughts on a one-day contract for Wilson to retire as a Seahawk.

In general I don't care much either way, but...

I'd rather make schneider happy than make russ happy. If JS doesn't want to do the one day contract thing because of the way things went down at the end of russ' tenure, I wouldn't blame him.

I suspect Russ will be in the ring of honor someday. But the Seahawks and Russ both have other stuff going on right now to focus on.

One day contracts don’t really mean much to me as a fan for Tyne most part. If the team and player want it then great, if not great. Each fan will decide for themselves how they feel with or without that. RW3 will either feel like a Seahawk for life or he won’t. The team will feel like he is or isn’t. Each will do so in their own way.

I think they will eventually get around to it, especially if his tv duties bring him around Seattle very often.

If he doesn't do it, I don't care either way. But this is the team that made him. I doubt any other team would have given him the talented roster and opportunities that John and Pete gave him.

Retiring a Seahawk really has nothing to do with the ring of honor. He can retire without hanging his jersey. 🤷‍♂️

I voted no, he made his bed with the organization and us fans as well. He wanted out and got his wish.
He is a phony person, and I lost my respect for him the way he ended it (trying to get PC and JS fired).
However, I will always be grateful for his contributions for helping us win the first owl, but that is it.
