Nope
He wanted out, he got out.
Now, stay out.

Random side note-I’m in Victoria!Nope for me, he back stabbed our coach and GM, for me having grown up in Canada ( Victoria) we have a strong sense of loyalty if you break that....good riddance.
Or rather : it won't matter what anyone thinks. It will get done with or without support.I'm a no, but if the team/organization says yes it's all good.
Sherman was let go by the team. He didn't ask for a trade or for his release. If anything, he felt he was mistreated by the organization, and there's some validity to that. Apart from playing against them on the field, he didn't try to undermine the team. He has also come back to talk to players in OTAs and been part of the "family". Oh, and he's one of the best CBs of all time.Sherman hasn't done a retirement contract. Would the same chunk of people be against that because he signed with the 9ers and was critical of Carroll after leaving the team?
He burned a lot of bridges while here, I'm not surprised.I am surprised by more NO than YES.
Actually, if you combine the "Yes" with the "Yes, but wait" numbers there are more Yeses than Nos.I am surprised by more NO than YES.
I heard ya, no one enjoys being unwanted, or being interviewed to be Geno Smith's backup, at Geno's recommendations.Poor guy let him at least go out with a ceremony, he’s had a hard time lately bless his heart
Yep. He deliberately, consciously and purposefully made himself a pariah. All for money, ego and hubris. He burned a lot of bridges while here, I'm not surprised.
Wonderful Comp when you really think about it - Both became biggerYep. He deliberately, consciously and purposefully made himself a pariah. All for money, ego and hubris.
The Seahawks' Alex Rodriguez.
I actually agree. If he were to come clean and be honest, at least as honest as Russell is capable of being, I too think most fans would forgive and move on and I probably would as well.IMO if he handles it the right way, ie retiring as a Seahawk, it could go a long way to mending the wounds he inflicted during his departure. He doesn't have to be specific, but if he were to admit that he made some mistakes, apologize to his fans for misleading them, admit that he's human and asks for their forgiveness, IMO the vast majority of 12's would accept it. I know that I would.
I certainly wouldn't invite him to raise the 12th man flag within the next 5 years, as doing so could be a huge embarrassment for both him and the team. 10% boos will drown out 90% polite applause.
