But it’s not. I’d argue it’s 10-1 people being outraged over the outrage than people actually outraged. We fall for this shit every single time. Like I posted above I’m surrounded by conservatives at work, social media etc being on the east side and I can’t find any examples of people actually being outraged. My guess is your social media is inundated with people talking about it and not actual people who are.

From red Starbucks cups to Taylor swift, all this stuff is being driven by fake social media outrage.
It’s how social media works. A preconceived bias leads you to view a story that reinforces that belief. Do that a couple times and the algorithm will give content with predominantly that bias.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.

I made the fatal mistake of commenting in a drake thread on reddit. 🙃🙄
At least it isn’t X where half the system curated feed is Only Fan ads. I swear I don’t click on that shit, but it’s still there 🤷🏻‍♂️

Which again, is evidence that it is simply the involvement of players' romantic partners that people find annoying.

If it was a problem with women, then people would bitch about players' moms, daughters, sisters, etc. they'd bitch about every woman they show in the stands. Yet, they don't.
You seem to be a bit on tilt over this whole issue. How does it make you feel?

Yes. And it’s fun. Embrace it. I find that embracing my madness is much more rewarding than defending as though it does not exist.

So my mentality should be "yes, I'm a mentally ill misogynist, but there's nothing wrong with that" ?

Big game Sunday, enjoy it. Even if you have to put up with less than 2 minutes of screen time from a cool musician who isn't hurting anyone by being there. I have a feeling her and Travis laugh at all this stuff. And I wouldn't blame them.

Choices.

Try not to look at it as a dichotomous issue. It doesn’t have to be wrong or right. Good or bad. Us versus them. Red v blue. Insecure alpha versus secure beta. It can just be. It can be right and wrong or neither right or wrong. Embrace the infinite shade of grey.

That's exactly how I look at it.

There's certainly a chicken and egg component to the fake outrage media spin machine.

But there'd be no one coming to Swift's defense if the conservative media and all their well known podcasters and keyboard warriors didn't know exactly what they were doing with the misogynistic attacks to rile up their audiences.

And part of that response is them saying that anyone who is annoyed or fatigued with Swift coverage is a misogynist, except for just pointing out the extreme examples.

So then you have people (heros, really) like myself responding to that, saying **** that shit motherfucker, i can be annoyed by Swift without being a woman-hating, conspiracy theory subscribing, bigot ass bitch. Quit steering the narrative and making villains out people who are doing nothing wrong.

The other day, a group of Swifties drove past my house and threw rocks at my windows. They were screaming "if you don't love Taylor Swift, you're a sexist! Get out of our town!". That's the sort of thing that happens when you let these narratives run out of control.

Luckily, I was able to chase them down, confront them, and get them to listen to why they're wrong. They all nodded in agreement and then gave me $820 to replace my windows. Then we all went out for hot fudge sundaes. It was pretty fun.

Much of it is jealousy really. Someone is ultra successful, people wanna' shoot it down.
Maybe some people are jealous.

I had a neutral view of her until about a year ago. Even before all the Chiefs circus, they were pushing her 24/7/365. It's oversaturation. She's part of it, because it's all part of the music machine.

Showing her yelling with a 1992 Chiefs sweatshirt and too much lipstick on gets old really quickly, as do all the cucks and dimwit women defending it until the death.

I'm sorry 8% of your football games this year have been completely ruined by the 2-3 times per game they show Swift enjoying herself at a Chiefs game.

Here's to hoping you somehow dig down deep and find the bravery you require to overcome your own personal Taylor Swift holocaust.
It's more than that. Add to that social media is full of stupid fluff about it with dimwitted women and cucks defending her 24/7. That's not football culture.

To be somewhat serious for a moment, I think what a lot of people don't like is how much people seem to care about celebrity gossip. It's been a thing since forever. We all see the magazines at the checkout stand saying who's dating who and it's like what the hell is wrong with people who actually care about this sort of thing.

So now you have NFL broadcasts playing into it too. They know that so many Americans are interested in celebrity gossip. Things that are none of their business.

So that's kind of where I come from. I'm not trying to add to the gossip, rather I'm just complaining about it. People who are complaining about the gossip and screen time that Taylor Swift is getting as it pertains to the NFL, are not adding to the problem, because they're simply complaining about it.

What needs to happen is people need to stop giving a s*** about celebrities love life. It's almost as if parents don't ever have that talk with their kids about what is and isn't their business.

I'd bet that Taylor Swift isn't a fan of all the screen time she's getting, either. She isn't the problem. People and their obsession of celebrities is the problem. They are just people. No need to obsess about them. They are no different, no better than us.
I disagree slightly. I think she knows exactly what she's doing. She has this dumb, aw schucks, dress like crap image, but that's all part of it too. If she doesn't, her agent and/or publicist are pushing it.

It used to be we'd get one shot of celebrities during games. That was fine. I don't think 99% of people had a problem with it. Now it's an annoying women in bright lipstick and a 1991 Chiefs sweatshirt yelling next to Jake from State Farm,
63 year old obese mama Kelce, Brittany Mahommes...enough...

That's because they fall for it too. Everyone does. I'm just saying I'm around more people of that ilk than most and I can't find anyone who cares. You will here an occasional "Ugh I'm tired of hearing about Taylor Swift" but that's about it. I can find hundreds of examples of people being outraged about it though whether I go to Twitter, Facebook, IG, Reddit etc. Of course you will get the high level talking heads talking about it but they're just trying to capitalizze on it. I know no on will agree but I'm with Matt Damon on this. When he was working on a movie and was surrounded by people who didn't think like him or have a lot of the same "beliefs" he did he expected them to be bad people. He was amazed that they were great people who treated him well and it challenged him to rethink how he views people who are different than him.

This isn't directed at you Sarge I just had a thought and kept typing lol.

General reminder guys to please keep political discussions out of the conversation.

And again, I love Taylor Swift.
