I hope it's just hype for trade, we have our present and future QB in Sam.

The Seahawks didn't hype his day, the bloggers did. He showed improved technique, quicker decision making, and made the throws. There's no question it's Darnold's team, but Milroe is signed through 2028. Best case he grows into the backup this year or next.

I hope Milroe sticks. I hope he improves his game little by little, because I don't expect a big jump, or a magical moment where it all comes together for him. IF, and thats a big IF, someone comes calling and makes an offer that is difficult to say no to, well then, okay, Bye (doing my best Katie Wilson).
I would think people should at least be encouraged by the news of Jalen having a few good days. But of course, this is .net where reason and logic sometimes tends to "slip" a bit.

I give this post a thousand likes. If he takes the number 2 job , that's a win.

best case someone trades us a first for him. How long will Sam be here? Long enough Milroe will never start here?

I think most of us fell in love with Sam and no doubt want him to be our starter for the foreseeable future.

But, it’s a business. At the end of the day, it’s a business. When the time comes, I hope we can re-sign, extend…whatever…at a decent price.

If him and his agent command a top 10 salary, who are you guys willing to sacrifice? We’re talking a high caliber (or two) type player(s).

It’s a huge stretch to say Milroe is ready to be #2…let alone that he’s starting caliber. But, I really like the fact that he has a window to develop and that there is little to no pressure to have him ready in the next couple of seasons.

What are we really missing out on with that 53rd roster spot?

Keep developing him…
