I voted yes. There are a couple of things that need to happen for this run to continue IMO.

QB - Darnold's contract is up next year. How they handle an extension is a big part of it. I firmly believe all these QBs who aren't game changers getting $55m+ are killing their teams competitiveness. If you give Darnold that kind of deal, you can kick the can down the road a year or two, but eventually it saps the ability to field a top team.

DL - Williams, Reed and Lawrence will need to be replaced soon as they get further into their 30's. There is some very promising younger DL guys on the team, but losing those 3 players over the next few years is a hit to the DL depth. John has to hit on the draft or FA to keep that depth.

Fortunately John has done an absolute masterclass in building this team and somehow still having plenty of cap space and a ton of picks in what should be a loaded draft. I think he can pull it off.

I think so. Thanks to smart drafting and acquisitions they're young, talented and have good coaching that highlights their strengths.

They also win in different ways. If you rely on too few ways to win you're too easy to figure out and you get gameplanned by better teams. Offense, defense, and special teams are very well balanced and if 2/3 show up then we got a very good chance to win. If you have an uncharacteristically bad game in one area but other parts can take up the slack then it's ideal. We've had several games like that where offense didn't score touchdowns or we gave up too much through the air but still got the victory.

It’s built, the entire organization top to bottom, the right people. The only thing that worries me only minimally is a scenario where JS leaves due to ownership idiocy, or get bored and goes to gb

We definitely have a lot of good pieces in place to have a chance to do it.
I think the defense, run by MM, gives us a real chance to continue to be great.
It all depends on injuries.

This team is built to be serious contenders for a long time. We have young stars at virtually every position and so much draft capital in next year's rich draft. The trick with a dynasty is getting it across the finish line though because that 20-game gauntlet can come down to a single play the wrong direction. But I'd much rather have that be the case than gamble it all on an all-in season in that same circumstance.

Dynasties are usually built around superstar quarterbacks. I like Sam, but in my opinion, he’s not a superstar quarterback. Also, not saying that Seahawks didn’t deserve that Super Bowl last year, but a lot of things need to fall your way, such as lack of injuries to win a Super Bowl especially without a superstar quarterback. I’m not trying to be Debbie Downer I’m just trying to be real.

I sure hope so, but injuries (especially following an extended season), new ownership, and questions at cornerback have to be answered.

Good point but there's only 1-3 superstar QB in the league at any given time. Darjold will be even better this season.

Still in maybe, wait and see mode. I'm certainly enjoying the winning, but 1 season does not a dynasty make. Start putting together multiple Div Championships and we'll talk.

Its hard for a team to be a Dynasty in this day and age in the NFL. There are just too many revolving doors. I do believe Seattle is set up to be competitive year in and year out for awhile and could win another title or two along the way, but i'm not sure that equates to Dynasty level. I think a Dynasty falls into a team that makes a steady appearance in title games and the Super Bowl fairly consistently for a pretty decent stretch. Very hard to do in todays league. I hope Seattle can do it. Would be awesome.

The term "Dynasty" and its meaning is pretty different nowadays because of the "revolving door" that was mentioned.

With the Salary Cap, it's not what it used to be.

I said "Maybe" because of other outside factors that are always lurking out there which would affect the team either in a positive or negative manner.

Only thing I can do as a fan is just focus on one season at a time and hope the next season leads to another Lombardi.

But let's be honest here : If Sam leads us to another Lombardi, does it really matter what his next contract here would be?

Speaking of which :

Interesting breakdown.

You can have 9 good starters on defense and still be picked apart. It's harder to build a dynasty through defense rather than based on a QB/WR combo.
