F*** mudflaps.
Well, we're returning our entire O-line this season, along with several of our backups. Our TE room is also coming back, whose members are all pretty good blockers as well as pass catchers. Outz should be healthy as well.So pemedic, where is this blocking you can drive a Minibus through with no mudflaps and get 10 yards a pop in the Seahawks offense, that means needing 5 olinemen, two TE's or blocking WR and or a FB. If you don't have all 9 of those then maybe a really good RB that makes up for lacking some of those is cheaper and easier to get in one off season.
Our OL was top 50% in run blocking by the end of the season...possibly top-10 during the playoffs and SB. I think the point is you don't have to have an elite RB that makes plays on their own when the OL & scheme enable a capable RB.So pemedic, where is this blocking you can drive a Minibus through with no mudflaps and get 10 yards a pop in the Seahawks offense, that means needing 5 olinemen, two TE's or blocking WR and or a FB. This IS the 'circle jerk' thread. If you want to jerk it outside the circle, there's that other thread about why we WON'T repeat. It's a regular circle jerk in here.
True. The funny thing is, in March, 2014 the answer would have been: "We have Russell and Pete Carroll".We have Schneider and Macdonald.
I enjoy both threads. We cant cover everything individually…they give us a collective of opinions, some justified and others lame. I absorb the informed posts and move past the others (most of the timeThis IS the 'circle jerk' thread. If you want to jerk it outside the circle, there's that other thread about why we WON'T repeat.

A more active off-season thread. Keep the site alive all year long.
PLUS, our OLine Coach is coming back...and remember the RB Coaching change that coincided with the crazy increase in our running game? Yeah, that guy's coming back too!Well, we're returning our entire O-line this season, along with several of our backups. Sounds like "9" to me.![]()
Indeed. Not gonna go over things here, but barring a stellar draft i expect our offense and defense to both regress a little bit. We may very well be fighting for a wild card spot instead of marching through our schedule like last year. They made it look too easy. If we win the super bowl next season it will actually be a slog, and no one will be saying "this doesn't even feel real."It's a regular circle jerk in here.
