It's almost assured that the Hawks will draft a RB. Doesn't necessarily have to be early. They may also be waiting for cut downs so they can sign vet FAs without it factoring into compensation pick formula. They can't be satisfied with what they have now, at least to start the season, as it's not safe to assume Charbs will be healthy and ready to go. They won't be neglecting the position, but there probably won't be a legit replacement for Walker. Someone on the roster needs to step up.

I think most folks are assuming that Charbs starts TC on PUP and that gets extended into the season. That would fit a normal timeline for rehabbing a knee.

It's good they are being patient. I think going the draft route is the best. Not really any decent guys available out there in FA, lots of riff raff. Don't need another LenDale White situation. Unless they want to make a trade for Derrick Henry or Jonathan Taylor. I'd be okay with that.

Uhh... The #32 pick is the last pick of the 1st round (essentially the first pick of the 2nd round).

I don't think we'll be able to trade any further up in the 2nd round. LOL

Oh, I misunderstood your post that I quoted you.

So you think it would be a "miracle" for Price to fall to pick #32 of the 1st round? I've only seen one mock where Price was taken in the 1st round and that was at pick #32.

I think you have mistaken Jadarian Price for his teammate Jeremiyah Love..LOL

Love is the RB that is considered one of the elite prospects in the draft and a top-12 player in most mocks. Price is considered the second or third best RB in this draft and a 2nd round prospect.

So, yes I wouldn't be opposed from trading up from #64 in the 2nd round, to get Price.

Alvin Kamara could be someone to consider for a 1-year deal.
Alvin Kamara would be my #1 target. Only thing is word is he'd retire rather than play elsewhere.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has already stated that he will retire if the team trades him, according to reports. Kamara made the comments back in October 2025, before the trade deadline, when he said he "doesn't want to go anywhere" and would "go drink a piña colada somewhere" if the Saints' GM Mickey Loomis tried to move him.

Maybe Shaheed could put in a good word though?

So Alvin doesn't want to win a SuperBowl then?

I wonder if the Seahawks come a-knockin', that he would've had a change of heart.

It's weird.

I get Alvin not wanting to leave (I guess he likes New Orleans) but he can always go back after 1 year here.

Imagine him winning a SB and then deciding to either retire or sign back with the Saints again the following season...

No idea if they have even reached out. But I can also see why a guy would want to finish his career in one spot.
