I will be interested to see how K9 does in KC. They do a lot of quick passes out of the backfield to get the RB in space -- which may turn out well for Walker. He can make guys miss, but doesn't run with power and break tackles.
Not knowing the new OC we will see what the character of his offense is, but so far MM has favored the physical, shove-it-down-your-throat style offense that keeps the chains moving and burns clock. It is the style of offense that complements this suffocating defense.
Pacheco would have been a good fit in that mold, but then again Holani, Akers, Wright, and Jones all fit that mold as well.
K9 was more of a finesse back to me, and while it was exciting when he broke into the open for a big gainer, I didn't like the NG, NG, NG, punts that preceded it.
