I enjoy the games, and have a long standing love affair with all things "Hawks". The feeling is much like a parent for children. I can see the good, the bad and the disappointment depending on circumstances. It is a fun time, a time to be happy.
Then again, the only thing that ticks me off about football, is poor refereeing, women accosting coaches on the way to the locker room, or the length of the Super Bowl show.
Good Gawd, you have to treat it like 2 different games, because the first half is nearly as long as an entire game in 1965, followed by a halftime show as meaningless as the smear on toilet paper.
THEN a second half of a game happens. If Seahawks play, I watch the entire show. Otherwise, I watch the recording and ignore any talk about it.
No matter what the NFL or fans say, the Super Bowl is a lousy way to treat two teams who have had fantastic seasons.
As a fan, I do not need 2 weeks to steep in drama and excitement. Or the coterrie of analysts blathering on for hours. Just football please.
I went on there, but HAVE FUN... ENJOY, and don't get down at a loss if it happens. Hell, look where we are at as a team and as fans. Life is great, and act like we've been here before. WHY? Because we have.
