It's entirely possible that Seattle's defense is just that good, but this is a guy who only had 4 100+ yard games this year. Being said, he put up 140 yds at 6.1 YPC and 117 at 5.6 YPC in the weeks before facing us. Granted that was against two pretty bad defenses.

Against the best defenses in the league that he faced, he had 23/2.9 vs Seahawks, 30/2.5 vs the Rams, and 25/3.1 vs Texans.

Sunday will be very telling of whether he is simply worn down, or just hit an immovable wall in Seattle.
It’s both. Seahawks run d is the best in the game and the 49ers rush efficiency has dropped off this year . Whether that is an offensive line issue; cmc or both I’m not sure. In the limited opportunities Robinson had , he seemed to have a better rush average . There were very little explosive run plays this year

With Deebo gone, Kittle hurt a lot, and recievers out a lot of the year, CMC is it. Even when Kittle is in there CMC is the work horse. Thats got to take its toll. The fact he's stayed on the field all season is a testimony to his toughness. Wish he had this toughness last season when he was my number #1 pick in FF. 😡🤬

McCaffrey will retire after this year. He barely made it back, he is worn down and can afford it. Maybe he would play as a spot player, but as a guy who touches the ball 60pct of the plays, he has to be tired.

If he thinks he has a good shot at ring…I suspect he’ll be back

ok Saquon barkley then. He's one year older. Sees 80 percent of snaps
McCaffrey is a warrior. When he is on the field he commands attention. But no running back that didn’t wear blue and green was gonna have fun yesterday. McCaffrey has had another amazing season and continues to be one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the NFL. But this Seattle defense is stuff of legend. It is the Dark Side because when offenses think they are gonna go against us the lights go out.

There is no honor in ripping on CMC he gave all he had but the niners were doomed. All of the NFL is doomed. There is no returning from facing the Dark Side. After encountering the Seattle Dark Side they are left broken and empty. No one walks away whole.

I hope we see Sean Peyton this year so we can steal his soul. I can’t stand him. I want to see him ripped into the blackness of the Dark Side and if he does come out he will want to never come back again.

All credit where it is due, but he has been rode hard and put away wet. It's not a coincidence he got hurt in this game. The fact that Shanahan allowed him back out on the field in a blow out, just shows how little respect Shanahan has for his players.

I don’t agree. They are warriors trying to win. I think Shanahan loves his players. They just lost the war of attrition this year.

The only thing I could say against the 9ers, cause they sure don’t quit, is

BRIAN ROBINSON JR.

Dude why would you not let him take more of the load off CMC? He is a beast. But that would not have changed anything about this game

Just setting CMC up for a down year next year by running him into the dirt in a blowout. Shanny finally realized and benched all the starters.

I think teams go all in like this often. When they have a realistic shot at the Super Bowl I doubt anyone is worried about next year.

I’m not saying it’s smart to break your toys, but it’s sure hard to lay down and die

I actually felt sorry for him in the 3rd last night
