...probably not, however, Seattle, will look to do the same until San Francisco has answers for it.
But that's the thing - McDonald will start with a game plan that probably will involve, like others have said, a strong run game and short passes (but I'll add an occasional deep throw mixed in). Shanahan will have a game plan based on what he thinks will work better than the failed plan in Santa Clara, and then...he won't change it, no matter what. If we're ahead or close at the end of the 3rd quarter, McDonald will do what it takes to win. What I wonder is - how much of the offensive changes in the 4th quarter are Kubiak, and how much are McDonald.

The only time I noticed the game plan never changing, even though the game was in doubt, and the 'no change' philosophy worked - was Indianapolis. McDonald/Kubiak never gave up on the 'field goals will do' game plan, and we could have lost that game as a result.

Makes me wonder if this "injury" that Sam has is nothing more than a smoke-screen designed to attempt to fool Saleh into trying to stack the box and "force" Darnold to beat them while not knowing Sam is actually 100%. lol
could be

I think we open the game going deep and taking shots. If the 9ers are lead to believe Sam is hurt, they may relax a bit on the pass, thinking we will be even more determined to just pound the rock and protect Sam.

Would be pretty sweet to hit a 65 yard TD on the first play of the game.

that would definitely get the crowd hyped and roaring! Nothing makes me happier than seeing all these Seahawks haters and Niners fanboys all shut the hell up! Of course, these Seahawks haters are not gonna shut up but it will give added fuel to troll them!
