I think Saturday missed the 1st half of the season. Sam has already proven he will beat you if you stack the box
Early in the season, when teams thought the Seahawks were going to run out of the 12 or 13 formation, Sam killed it all day long.

Trent looked really bad at times last week. While he's better than most OTs when he's healthy, it's been a long season, and I don't think he's anywhere near healthy.

I actually felt bad for him when I saw the defeated look on his face a couple of times. At his age, his body wont heal without an off season.

I chuckle when people use that "they held us to 13" line. They scored 3, and came close to scoring 10. Neither was enough.

People love to magically look at the final score and act like that was a close game. Hilarious. The Hawks shot themselves in the foot or they easily win 26-3. And it doesn't matter. They gave up 173 yards, 9 first down and 3 points. And owned the time of possession. Shoot, had an 8:01 drive to seal the game basically. They ALSO had a kneel down at the end...in scoring range.

But........Niners fans are more interested in excuses.

Serious Sam Darnold is currently the best football player on the planet. bar none, no exceptions. He's the only guy with 14 wins back to back seasons. Stats prove it.

Trust me when I say Serious Sam can absolutely expose the niners on Saturday. 30+ years of watching football obsessively and I can say Sam is the best quarterback ive ever seen.

Jeff Saturday was a mouthy but lousy coach; his opinions should not be taken seriously.

Seemed like Williams was kind of hobbling in the Eagles game. Then again, 80 percent of him is better than most.
He gave up 6 pressures in that game which is a lot for him. Definitely not 100 percent

Serious Sam was a blast to play as a video game
Hopefully Sam brings out the big guns and all the cheat codes

That's a wild assessment, in a great way - I love the optimism, and we need it. I've been a football fan since 1965, and Sam Darnold doesn't make my top 20 qb list. To me, Montana was the greatest - better than Brady, Marino, Staubach, Favre, Unitas or any other of the great qbs. I hate the 49'ers - always have - but just seeing Montana lining up behind center, I knew the odds were that he was going to get his way - he was flat out magical. Those red zone issues that Darnold has had - Montana never had. I can't remember him ever screwing up. I'm sure he did, but I can't remember it.

Today I think Josh Allen is the best qb - his style would work in any offense, and I'd love to see what he could do for a great team.

But I agree with you that Darnold can "expose the niners", and I really think he will. I love that he forgets his mistakes from game to game, and I love that he has the last Rams game under his belt. He'll be ready Saturday.

We now have all our TE's back, stack the box please Arroyo and Barner can release and feast on your light secondary.

Will Saturday look exactly like Week 18? Odds are, probably not, however, Seattle, will look to do the same until San Francisco has answers for it. If they want to stack the box, fine, JSN, will destroy single high coverage with a nickel package by Saleh. The Niners are not deep in the secondary as they had to get deep in linebacker and defensive line cause all their injuries. Seattle will feed JSN and you will see deep shots towards Shaheed in this game. This plays directly to how the Seahawks will operate cause the Niners have no pass rush. If you decide to stop the run if you’re Saleh, the pass game will work cause the Niners just does not have the pass rush to get to Darnold.

I still think the game plan for Seattle offensively is to pound the rock with K9 and Charbonnet and control the clock and play field positioning, just, like Game 2. Until, the Niners prove they can stop the run, Seattle, runs and runs and runs the ball and when Seattle’s defense is in the game, they will wreck the offensive line of the Niners and not even Trent Williams will have answers.

Believe it!

Makes me wonder if this "injury" that Sam has is nothing more than a smoke-screen designed to attempt to fool Saleh into trying to stack the box and "force" Darnold to beat them while not knowing Sam is actually 100%. lol
