I knew the game was over the second that ball went over Peyton’s head on the first snap and we got the safety. I knew it in my soul and I even told everyone at the watch party that. I knew it was over. What a feeling. What a game. I can die a happy man.

I've always enjoyed Joe Buck's broadcasting, love the guy. And I don't care that some might say he got his job through nepotism (Joe even says that), I believe he earned that job, and continues to do so.

Shit! I knew we had it when we won the NFC championship game. This team was special. I’ve never been so confident in a team all year. When they lost to Atlanta the year before I said the same thing as Russ regarding the next season. We had it.

I wasn't sure until the first 12 seconds of the second half happened.

I knew it when Eric Decker gave the pregame interview. He genuinely looked scared

I, like most fans knew deep down that we had something special going on at the time and had full faith that we’d win that game. That faith skyrocketed when the safety occurred and felt cemented enough to say aloud “well this is over” after the 2nd half kickoff.

I know there was a ton of hype about the Broncos offense but that defense wasn’t ever going to let us down.

The next season I felt we could repeat it as it got closer the injuries mounted and I knew it would be a battle.

Healthy, the LOB was nearly unbeatable. I’m so glad that I got to fully enjoy that entire era.

I knew we had won, when I saw Harvin take the second half kickoff the distance. I also remember seeing his eyes, and realizing he was high as a kite.

I also knew we would win back-to-back Super Bowls from that moment, until the second I saw them not give the ball to Lynch.

I remember saying that there was no one else I trusted as much as RW3, to drive the distance, and come from behind to win, when that ill fated drive started.

When he threw the most amazing pass in Super Bowl history, to Kearse, I remember thinking how that play would be right up there with Lynch running it across the goal line for the win, as the top highlights of the game.

Then I saw Wilson in pistol, and saw Lynch running without the ball. Yelled no at the TV, and...

One way or another, the ball should have gone to Lynch. He was uncovered out of the back field, all the way to the end zone.

When I saw Manning already on the sideline with his Franken Forhead all wrinkled up and glaring after the fumble I knew we were going to roll, we were in his head and the rest of the teams after that first play and we poured it on. Best offense in history, well guess what you all pissed off what could be said was the best defense of the Modern Era.

I thought we were a team of destiny. I was, like others have said, as confident in a team as I have ever been. I thought it'd be more of a game though. Didn't see a blowout coming against the best offense in NFL history.

43 to Denver's garbage time 8.
Payton was high octane all season long so prior to the game, I was expecting Manning to give the LOB all they could handle. light, light, light, F I Z Z L E!

One of my favorite memories occurred just before the game. Coach John Fox watching Seahawk players run around warming up exclaiming: "Damn they're fast!"

If Kearse had kept his wits, he could have rolled into the endzone untouched.
