Joe is much more interesting as a caller than he used to be. You can go back to the Tyree catch or the Mitchell-Mitchell-Mitchell play to remember how unenthused he used to sound.

But I've always thought he was terrific in interviews. He does love the game. And no matter what you might remember, he and Troy were always super complimentary of the team of Pete's prime years here.

I'm not a big fan of him and Aikman, but it is kind of fun to yell, "Joe Buck Yourself!" at the TV when they wax poetic about the Cowboys...

I know people aren’t going to believe me but Seattle played Denver previously earlier in this year in a pre season game, and I know many considered it meaningless, but I absolutely knew Seattle was going to crush Denver. Denver will always (at that time) only play to their ability and know how. Denver did not know how to adjust and play in a different style. And Seattle had already laid wastes to teams that cannot run the ball and does not have a QB that can run. That was really only Seattle’s main weakness. If you can establish a run and a QB can run at times and give Seattle issues, if a team cannot do this, Seattle will wreck them. Definitely, Peyton, is not running and plays right into Seattle’s strength, pass rush and stop the pass, and/or wreck their receivers. Seattle did this, unobjectively. There was no way, Denver was going to beat Seattle. The real Super Bowl was absolutely, the NFC Championship against the only team that had a chance to beat Seattle, the Niners. Seattle was not logically going to lose to the Broncos. That was not going to happen. The Broncos ended up changing their entire team afterwards to a different style in order for Peyton to win his next ring. Seattle was absolutely going to win, period.
