I posted three polls since July to seek season win projections from experts on .NET. The consensus is between 11 - 12 wins, although 13 wins steadily gained momentum over time.



After the glorified first regular season game, or the first preseason for starters, we are on track for those 11-13 wins. Our defense still look like a #1 defense, out OL played free without the deadweights, DK, Geno and Lockett, which John Schneider wisely removed.

A lot of things. An happen over the next 10 days. Both the Rams and Niners play winning teams this Sunday and they play each on Thursday. Then we have a huge game against the Bucs. For me that Bucs game will tell a lot about the rest of our season and my optimism for it. The Niner and rams games will say a lot for our division too. I want to defer until after that dust settles.

I haven't, really. I'm in the 12-13 range. Still pretty much there, though it looks like they may do better than that.
