I heard some comment during the game that DK basically said “(bleep) them” as in the Seahawks. Well (bleep) you too buddy. I don’t miss that man child one tiny bit.

He rested on the laurels of his size and physical body which is impressive but I never once thought he was all that as a receiver. Sure, he had his moments for us, but I never confused him for a great receiver. There’s ten receivers I can think of right now who played for the Seahawks who were better pure wide receivers. Better route runners, better hands. Better mentally.

It’s so easy to get into his head. You saw it again today. How many 15 yard drive-killing penalties did he cost us in his time here?

Yeah, don’t miss the dude one tiny bit.

SO glad he was a non-factor and we got the last laugh.

Onward!
I agree but I knew also people liked his potential in some of those explosive plays. Don't know why he dissed us. Pete and the shirt incident was comedy gold. DK .... ..DK ....DK. the meltdown is comin.

The most disappointing thing about DK really was his antics that would lead to penalties. Everyone knows he is a physical talent, yes his hands and route running may have been slightly above average...or maybe even just average. But combine his skill with his physical talent and he's an elite player. The issue is the antics...it destroys a team's culture and costs you dearly in a game, big plays, field position etc. Just disappointing.
I don't know about that. He cut down on the antics last season and pissed me off more with his lazy routes and a disinterested looking vibe

If DK had good hands, he could've rivaled Jefferson/Chase/Megatron(historically) as a WR.

But he doesn't have good hands.

And that is why he's not here and we have players with GOOD HANDS replacing him in JSN and Cooper Kupp...and everyone else.

Even I, who is nothing more than a keyboard warrior, have better hands at catching a football than DK.

To be fair, DK was the last pick in the 2nd round. Those other 3 guys you mentioned were all 1st round picks, and 2 of them were top 5 picks.

There's clearly some bitterness, pettiness, and a lot of anti DK bias going on in this thread. He was a good player for us. Very good considering where he was drafted. He averaged 76 receptions, 1100 yards, and 8 TD's per season for us. Those are very good numbers, especially for a late 2nd round pick.

He had/has his flaws for sure. He's not Megatron, Jamar Chase, or Justin Jefferson. Very, very few guys are. I get that a lot of people here don't like the guy, and that's fine, but there's a whole lot of exaggerating the bad and down playing the good going on here. His 17 game averages in receptions, yards, and TD's is better than the 17 game averages of all the guys someone said in an earlier post were better (Lockett, Baldwin, Tate, or Kearse (lol).

Pretending like DK wasn't really all that good of a WR for us just seems like sour grapes to me.

He was good and had to be accounted for, but he wasn't great and he always had the potential to be so. The reality of it all is that he is never going to be great although he believes he already is.

He was the last pick in the 2nd round and he averages 1100 receiving yards per season. That's very good. People that were expecting an elite, Megatron type WR were always being unrealistic. There's a reason he was still available at the end of the 2nd round, and it's certainly not because the NFL thought he was going to a dominant, elite WR1.

DK was always a front runner. All show, missed potential. Shows off his six pack, jumping three feet high in pre game warmups, then disappears for long stretches during the game.

Slow in and out of breaks, lazy route runner, crap attitude, overpaid body catcher.

So glad he’s gone.

Sounds like they're saying DK is in a similar situation to George Pickens last season. No WR2 to take any attention away from him, and a QB under a ton of pressure which makes it really hard for the offense to function.

And yes, the 3 drops in 2 games. Considering he had 4 drops over the entire course of last season, that seems more like an outlier than the norm. If he continues on anything close to that pace, than yeah, he's got a problem with drops. If not, he's just like every other WR in the league that sees a high target volume in that drops are going to happen here and there.

He wouldn't even be the second best receiver on the team right now  . Eff him
Would he be the 3rd on this team. His problem is, he should be playing TE, he has the skills, but not the drive to block or run with the Safeties. He is just not dependably in the right spot.

Somone said he had four drops all last season?! What else do you call it when he doesn’t catch it? He could have four in one game if I was counting. JSN makes all those catches. I bought his jersey but I don’t miss that ball dropper now.

DK was, objectively, probably the worst red zone WR in the NFL while in Seattle. With all of that size. He.could be so good.
