I heard some comment during the game that DK basically said “(bleep) them” as in the Seahawks. Well (bleep) you too buddy. I don’t miss that man child one tiny bit.

He rested on the laurels of his size and physical body which is impressive but I never once thought he was all that as a receiver. Sure, he had his moments for us, but I never confused him for a great receiver. There’s ten receivers I can think of right now who played for the Seahawks who were better pure wide receivers. Better route runners, better hands. Better mentally.

It’s so easy to get into his head. You saw it again today. How many 15 yard drive-killing penalties did he cost us in his time here?

Although I always held on to hope that he would evolve into a Megatron type player, I really can’t argue reasons to worry about him being gone.

I did fear that he would go to a division rival and tear our ass up twice a year, thankfully that didn’t happen.
Today he had a chance to show up and out, but thankfully that didn’t happen either.

Hopefully the “eff them” comment was about coach, management, ownership and not his teammates in Seattle.

I guess I miss the potential that I always saw, even though he never seemed to live up to it.

At the end of the day, we’re probably better off without him.

As in thank you too DK for the draft capital that allowed us to move up to take Nick Emmanwori. It’s funny that we didn’t even have him today in the secondary, but still held DK to 20 yards on 3/6. All that speed and physical talent to stretch the field and he averaged under 6.8 ypc.

In all fairness, he didn’t have any drops yesterday as the one they are insinuating was batted down. The problem he and all other Steeler receivers are going to have this year is that their offensive line is terrible and Aaron won’t have time to get them the ball. I still like DK but this was not a trade they should’ve made based on their current situation.

He's never been the best reciever in any team hes played on accept maybe, pop warner and his high school teams.
College Brown was/is better .
Pros, lockett and Baldwin both better.
Tate better.
Kearse better.
We can go on and on.

He has a lot of growing up to do. Pittsburgh fans will come to find this out. They will also find out, he's not an elite reciever, hell he's not even a great reciever. He had no pure drops yesterday. There was one that was batted out, but not considered a drop. Go back and watch the game and you’ll see. Here is his stat sheet showing he has one drop this year and that came last week. Also, if you look at the number of targets he gets each year with the number of drops, I’ll take that ratio any day for a wide receiver.

To DK's credit he did make a couple good plays early where he high pointed the ball and showed good hands making the catches. But that was the end for him and he later DESERVED a personal foul penalty that was ignored by the zebras. So he hasn't changed much of anything about his game since he left the good guys.

Well, it wasn't as bad as what Earl did, but I'm with you in that I don't miss him.

As far as I could tell, he didn't cost the Steelers the game like he did with us a couple of times last year by causing interceptions due to his sloppy route running. Three catches for 20 yards and a TD probably wasn't what the Steelers were thinking of when they traded for him.

Looking back, DK reminds me of that guy in high school who fixes up a car but spends all the money where it doesn't count. Looks great, looks mean, appears to be badass, but there's nothing special under the hood. DK always looked the part, but when it came down to really showing what he could do, it was mostly show and little go.
