It took Pete 3 seasons to turn it around and win it all. We're in year two of the MM era.

Playoffs this year, then one more good draft/off season, we will be full fledged contenders next season. Book it.

Agreed. The reason the teams like browns and jets, etc are continuously bad is fans are too impatient to build. I know this is an instant gratification generation but it doesn’t work out that way. The Eagles were crap 2 years ago, now look at them.

This is the ELEVENTH season since the Super Bowl loss. We have won 3 total playoff games since then. The common factor in the ten seasons of futility is a failure of a GM. Nothing will improve until John Schneider is fired. And just because we all loved Paul Allen that doesn't mean his dimwit sister is worth a damn except to be fooled by conmen like JS and PC

Whatever!

Boy it sure doesn't take much for the FO haters to show their true colours. The team was 12 yards away from a W when Darnold managed to fumble after being backed into by his RT, the ball was turned over and the team lost it's home opener.

OMG the sky is falling!

Rationally there was a lot that needed to be fixed with the O and some genuine and noticeable defensive shortcomings. To me it was more of execution failures than problems with scheme or personnel but to each their own.

I'm giving Mac 4-5 seasons; You have to flush a lot PC/JS
players out and that takes time, drafting and developing
takes time.
One season and a game isn't enough time @Jerhawk
You nailed it, our great John Schneider is conducting the cleansing, getting rid of all Pete Carroll guys! In a year or so, we shall be free of old Pete dudes.

John Schneider is given the mandate by none other than our lovely Jody to sanitize.

If we fire MM after this year it won't look good for the Hawks as a franchise. No one wants accept a job where they know they will not be given the opportunity to build their own team. I can't see how anyone would think he needs to be gone already.

This 100% give the man some time to build this team to fit his system.

If we were going to replace Pete, putting in another Defensive HC made no sense. When you make a change like that, you gain very little. They should have waited a year and made a run at Ben Johnson, or looked at another hot OC who could transform the offense. MM is the wrong HC for this team, and eventually when we fire him, we should give Schneider his walking papers too. Start fresh.

I don't know that I have enough evidence reggarding the head coach's talent, I do know that we have an absolute terrible and completely absentee team owner. Our GM needs to be on the hot seat. Darrnold really? That's a push at best. We chose to not pursue Aaron Rodgers. Why? He's still great (had a better season last year on a crap team then Mahomes did stat wise) It's just sad that we keep signing mediocre QB's. When Rogers goes off again next week. What then will we say? It's just very frustrating.Cheers

Aaron Rodgers? Ha ha ha. Sure, let's rebuild the O around a prickly 40 year old QB who's coming off a torn achilles a couple of years ago. Ha ha ha, that's a good one!
