How do so many people have an opinion on MVS? Is there some game tape I've missed? Maybe he'll suck, but I can't form an objective POV until I see him play in this O for this team.

He may not have lit the world on fire in NO last year, but avg'd 22.6 yds (386 total for 8 games). He knows the O and Kubiak thought enough to bring him over. Worth a wait and see for me...just sayin.

More yards in 8 games than Bobo's entire career, lol.

I love Bobo. Always have.
But....not my subject anymore. I joked around, I had fun, got blasted for it.

Oh well.
I mostly enjoy your enthusiasm. Rooting for Bobo but not offended by your takes on him. Sure, you can mock him for his foot speed, many do, but ultimately he's a lunch pail guy who overcomes his limitations and has to earn his reps through effort, consistency, film study, and smarts. Watch Bobo eventually become the Steve Kerr of NFL coaches.

I love K9 too but he is injured a lot and needs to be sturdier/more explosive between the tackles. IMO Charbonnet gets the ball on 3rd and 1.

Not gonna argue with JPatera76 being upset, how he feels is how he feels, and you handled it well. Speaking of "reasonable only when you agree with him"... I knew John63, John63 was a friend of mine (if I praised Russell), and Senator Soulfish, you're no John63! (With apologies to Sen. Lloyd Bentsen's roast of Dan Quayle)

MVS is a starter for now in certain sets but Horton is right there nipping at the bud. I wouldn’t be surprised if Horton beats him out tho. He basically went toe to toe with Travis Hunter and got the better of him so I like Horton a lot
Is he? Most people who have been at camp everyday, think Horton is ahead of MVS. And dance MVS doesn’t have any history of special teams play, he is in danger of not making the team

Hes actually the 5th 🤔. MVS is clearly the #4
I think both Bobo and Young have passed MVS on the depth chart. MVS is a one trick pony and it sound like Horton is better at that trick. And as previously mentioned, if you're a #4 or #5 receiver, you have to play on special teams and MVS hasn't had many special teams reps since 2018.

I agree MVS is on very thin ice. Young and Bobo are both better that the other at different things. One of Bobo's better traits is blocking so that could be the swing vote in his favor. Another thing is he has maintained good health while Young has been on injury list a lot. That is an important consideration.

Bobo and Young are both "lunch pail" guys. They come in and drive others around them to do and want to be better. I could easily see the Hawks keeping them both some how. Now, that could be at the expense of a 4th RB. So, possible they keep 5 WR, 3 RB and Outz & Russell at FB. Because you know those FBs are getting cross trained in RB & TE.
Both bring great work ethic and energy—keeping them both could really boost the team depth.

This is not even cool. Bobo ranting. Ima stay away for awhile. I don't know what happened to our board. Insanity. Guy likely won't make the team. So what's the motive? So does one guy have several identities? Or is this some kind of rebellion?

Bobo might be the most overrated player by our fanbase of all time and that's saying something.
That's a stretch. He has made some amazing catches and timely ones as well to warrant praise. I'm not seeing anyone say he's a #3 and if he's cut the base will deal just fine.

However, saying a concensus #4+ is "might be the most overrated player by our fanbase of all time" might qualify as the most overstated comment of all time. Maybe.

Hm...It seems your historical knowledge of the Seahawks is somewhat limited. I'm guessing you weren't around when Brian Bosworth was playing. Bosworth is the most overrated and overhyped player in Seahawks history and it's really not close.

Both Bobo and Young are having a ballgame. I’m torn on this one because as soon as we cut one to the practice squad another team will claim him

Young is ok, serviceable, but PLEASE do not insult Bobo by comparing him to Young.

Seahawks have a tough choice to make if they only keep 5 WRs. They may be forced to keep 6. Rookie 7th rounder Dareke Young is big, fast, can catch and reportedly is excellent on special teams. Fan fav Jake Bobo also is big and excels on special teams. He is exceptionally slow, but has all-pro hands and body control (0 drops in two pro years) and knows how to get open. Plus, at 6’4” he is a proven red zone threat. If forced to choose, I’d take the Bobo. Catch ability like his is hard to replace.
