I suspect we may only keep 5 WR, which puts Bobo on the fringe. JSN, Cupp, MVS, Horton are front 4.
That’s what I mean. Having one or two fullbacks on roster will more than likely mean they only keep 5. JSN, Kupp, MVS, Horton and probably Bobo he’s a better run blocker and crafty as hell in short yardage

Horton 3, no question. And I would rate more than one other ahead of Scantling. So my question is does Scantling stick? Bobo goes nowhere but where can he get PT considering our terrific TE room?
MVS is a starter for now in certain sets but Horton is right there nipping at the bud. I wouldn’t be surprised if Horton beats him out tho. He basically went toe to toe with Travis Hunter and got the better of him so I like Horton a lot

These are the career receptions-yards-TDs of Jake Bobo and Dareke Young.

Young is a 2022 7th round pick. Bobo went undrafted in 2023. With one less year in the NFL, Bobo has 30 more catches, 279 more yards and has 3TDs compared to zero.

Bobo has taken better advantage of his opportunities than Young. Dareke Young came into the league with some DK comparisons. Bobo came into the league and said hold my beer Dareke, I’m here to play football.

I don't think the question is Bobo or Dareke Young. I think it's Dareke Young or MVS, and I think Young wins. Bobo is reliable, has great hands, and most importantly, is the best blocking WR on the roster. Young is having a great camp and is one of the Hawks' better special teams players. MVS does one thing well, which is using his speed to stretch the field. Unfortunately for him, Horton is better. If MVS makes this team, it's because of the 3 million he's guaranteed.

I’m over Bobo. Good story, just not fast enough to be an NFL wideout.

If he wanted to pack on some muscle, try him at tight end or linebacker.

“What a dumb take Jerkhawk, you think it’s that easy to switch positions in the NFL? I bet Bobo is better than you, loser.” - Typical .Net response.

Fair enough. The Bobo lovers constantly talk about his downfield blocking. Try him at tight end. Just do it.

Young is better than Bobo.

Bobo could be solid, he's just the adopted player, and that's fine. He's average. Until I see more, that's how I see him.

Our TE room is already crowded with apparently high caliber talent. Finding a spot on this team as a receiver is tough duty, which is surprising considering we lost Lockett and DK this year. I really like Bobo but I'm just not sure he can compete at a high enough level to find a spot in unbiased competition.

IIRC, Pete had to challenge that one because it was not ruled a TD on the field. Only on replay did the refs realize that Bobo had executed a toe-tap reception reminiscent of Steve Largent, Tyler Lockett, and Doug Baldwin.

Or am I on drugs about my recall on the play was only declared a TD on review, and the refs called it correctly during play? I swear there was a game where Bobo had an amazing TD that had to go to replay to overturn the call on the field.
