How much do you give up to extend this man, and yes its worth it.. but holy smokes these contracts are getting silly.

My lost sleep queue already has a 4 year backlog. I placed this on there today, so my lost sleep for this will be occurring in 2029.

Yup. There's no way they let him go when his contract is up. They either extend him (which I expect them to do) or they franchise him.
Spoon isn't going anywhere. To each his/her own, I just have about a negative 10 percent worry about the Hawks losing spoon.

Like others said, this is far down the list of concerns for me now. Barring injuries, I project him as being our best defensive player this year, and a borderline All-Pro player. If so, I have little concern about resigning him. He'll get the market value contract he deserves.
