Yes, I go to training camp nearly every year. Some years I attend more practices than other years, but normally am in attendance at least half of the open practices every year.

Getting back on topic of the thread, I feel Tory Horton's best chance to get on the grass this year is as a PR and not as a WR. He may get some snaps at WR at some point this season, but he isn't going to be making opposing DCs lose any sleep in preparation for the Seahawks offense.

In regard to Horton, wasn't he dealing with a knee injury that
wasn't 100% when he ran speed drills?
I'm not sure we know just how fast he really is yet after healing
and building up his strength with training in off season.
He might be a big surprise and maybe it's nothing much, we just
don't really know yet in my opinion.

I honestly don't know the full extent of his injury history off the top of my head. I watched full college games of his on All-22 film. From what I see, Horton doesn't have the pure speed to take the top off defenses. Many scouts saw the same thing I did. He lasted to the 5th round for a reason. I am not obsessing on 40 times when evaluating players. I am focused on and only fully concerned about what players do on the grass.

Looking forward to seeing Horton when the Seahawks are in Titletown for a joint practice on August 21st. It's ones vs. ones for joint practices, so I don't know how much I will see of him, but joint practices are certainly better for evaluating teams/players than are preseason games. Starters barely play at all in preseason games. This is why joint practices are so crucial to training camps in todays NFL.

You really think you’ll be able to evaluate a player based on a joint practice? The only way to truly evaluate a guy is during the season. And by the way, we get it, the Packers have won championships with your “Titletown” comments. NOBODY here cares about that so just go back to your Packer board and you can congratulate each other on all those championships back from the 1920’s to 1960s. Frankly, since 1970, the Packers have won two championships, which when you look at the number of years has this past since then it’s average.

Practice?

Any other questions? I am here to teach.

As I said earlier, MVS is basically the only WR the Seahawks have that can really stretch the field.

I will be at the joint practice with the Seahawks on August 21st at Ray Nitschke Field. I am looking forward to the Packers D going up against this incredible Klint Kubiak offense. I will be sure to let you all know how it is goes, no worries.

Can you post a link to an actual scouting report of some kind? Not an LLM-generated screencap you coaxed. I've tried every machination of search, and it's all accolades around his speed. And nobody GAF if you watched an All-22. A "fan turned internet scout" has become a meme.

Green Bay is 'Titletown.' I didn't name it that, it just is that. Why does that bother you so much? Too funny! It's obvious envy, that you will now deny, but it's there, no matter how you try to spin it. Whatever helps you to sleep at night.

If you read my comment, you see that I evaluated Horton off game film. Never watched him practice. The value of joint practices in todays NFL, is that joint practices are now the actual preseason games. All of the starters for each team go against each other for the WHOLE practice.

I said I look forward to seeing Horton on the grass live at the joint practice. I never said that would be my full and final evaluation of him. JSN, MVS, and Kupp will be getting the most snaps at the join practice. As I said, Horton's best shot to get on the field this season is as a punt returner. His contributions to special teams could be quite important to Seattle's success or failure this year.

Back on topic, I am not high on Kubiak or Seattle's offensive roster. We can agree to disagree on both. Seattle is a couple years away. Seahawks fans shouldn't set themselves up for heartache, by thinking that Seattle is a playoff team. They do have a cake schedule, and the ceiling is 8 wins. There should be a parade in Seattle if the Seahawks win 8 games. 8 wins should be considered a successful season for them by the fan base.

John Schneider is a Wisconsin native and once a Packer always a Packer. Packers GM has ALWAYS been John's dream job, he will NEVER come close to getting it, but let the Wisconsin boy dream!
I know all about the Packers as I’m personal friends with Johnny Holland. With that said, just go away because you are obviously trolling!

Thank god this forum does not represent actual Seahawks fans. I've had the pleasure of meeting many over the years in Green Bay & have got along splendidly with them. Will most likely meet more the week of August 18th.

Some of those on this forum are NOT welcome in Titletown this summer. Only real Seahawks fans are welcome, which some here obviously are not.

Training camp is a blast in Titletown

If you don't know what "long speed" is, then go learn football and come back in a few years. Or read my thoughts and concerns about his top end speed, which I already presented to you. I have no need to prove anything to you about Tory Horton. If you want to keep delusionally thinking your 5th round PR is a taller Tyreek Hill, then knock yourself out. Good luck with all that!

If you don't know what a "link" is, then go learn the internet and come back in a few years.

I think our D will be better this year than it ever was last year. If that comes true it will give our offense some extra room to work with. They won't have to be top shelf to walk off the field winners. But I also think they will improve rapidly as the season progresses. I'm just hoping our guys can post a W in game 1 this year. Getting off to a good start could really get this train rolling toward an unstoppable conclusion.

This is the best forum out there, period. Nobody cares that you think it's odd you can't post a new thread. It should be earned.
So far, you're only pissing people off with your trolling.

I have to say, championships before I was born don't matter to me. Why be proud of something you weren't even born to cheer for? "we competed against 11 other teams and won a championship". A little underwhelming compared to a 32 team league, IMO. More practically, I don't pay attention to championships that my favorite team wasn't around to compete for. So the Packers have two championships that are relevant to me (post-1976). :p

(yes, yes, I'm just jealous, blah blah blah. Sorry, I'm really not. My dad is in his 80s and HE wasn't born for the first 6 Packers championships. Ancient history. Seriously.)
Yeah sunnnyy but it 1927 when I 35, I saw the original football, I mean first football ever

You have way too much time on your hands with all your film study and long winded posts and trips to practices I am so impressed at your dedication too, I mean with all the cool stuff you do, it’s impressive, you still have time to troll the greatest fan base that you’ve ever encountered, I’m sorry you can’t be one of us but you’ve already shown your lack of football understanding by rooting for the packers. I’m sorry I’m going on and on…

Again, thank god this forum does not represent ACTUAL Seahawks fans. I have met MANY actual Seahawks fans over the years in Green Bay and in Seattle. ALWAYS have got along splendidly with actual Seattle fans. They are the farthest thing from the little scared trolls hiding behind screens on this forum. We all will pray things get better for those desperate souls.

Even got along with actual Seahawks fans last season when Packer Nation completely took over Lumen Field last December. Some Seattle fans said they were sad & embarrassed that the "12th Man" died that nite, but I assured them that not every team and fan base can come in and completely own Lumen Field like PackerNation can.

Now your just repeating yourself… I hope you didn’t come over here to enemy territory just to get “rattled” but seriously repeating yourself is a sign that your body has slipped into fight or flight mode. Just relax your safe, I mean physically your safe…

The D is no doubt the strength of the team.
The thread topic is the offense, or I would delve deeper into my thoughts on MacDonald and the D. The rule that new members can't start threads is on odd one, the only of it's kind I have seen in these late 90s style NFL fan forums. A dying breed.

I have very limited free time, but I do post on a couple different teams fan forums. Most fan bases appreciate an unbiased, fresh, knowledgeable and educated view of their fav team from the outside.

Back to the offense, I was very surprised the Seahawks hired Klint Kubiak. Not a name you hear when speaking about the brightest offensive minds in the game.

You've done nothing but sh!t on this team, (some) of its fans, and now the message board tech and our new OC. You've not brought an unbiased, fresh, knowledgeable, or educated view of this team (but have posted a rando photo album of Packer players riding tricycles...) All that you've basically said is that Darnold will be bad this year. Do you not think this is something that has been beat to death on this board for the last few months? That most fans are expecting a slow start on offense, a regression for Darnold, and are excited about the potential development of Milroe?

And I thought Niners fans were insecure, dayum.
At least our regular Niners fans bring something to the table. Even if we don't always agree with them and hate their team with a passion etc.
It's still fun to talk smack back and forth with them. I know quite a few Packers fans, and they're all really cool. You're giving a bad name to a pretty solid fanbase.

This is SEAHAWKS dot net. Not PACKERS ARE GODS dot net.
