Hey I get, this makes the Raiders better considering what they have had the last few years. There is also a great unknown for the Hawks now where things could go really well next year but they can crater. But I don't get the reaction, not so much here but overall Geno leaving etc.
-It's not like we gave up a big piece of what was a team "one impact player" away from a Super Bowl or anything.
-As for the Raider positivity, I look at the rest of their roster and the division they are in, I don't even think they are a playoff team right now, let alone a true championship contender.

Some of the reaction seems to be really over the top. Those of you who follow NFL types and some Hawk fans on social media probably see what I see and know what I am talking about

Hawks have a better shot at making the Playoffs next season than the Raiders and that's not really a hot take.

Man…Oz…the thing that ‘gets’ me is the whole O-line thing.

By many metrics, we were dead last or close to it (31st on PFF).

I know we made an offer to Geno and if players don’t want to be here, see-ya!!

If our line was decent, we wouldn’t be having this conversation because everyone would eat!

I’m holding on to the fact that we’re rather young up front…and more than any other position group sans QB,O-linemen often need time to mature.

If Darnold comes in ripping it up, perhaps this perspective is null and void.
Like a lot better? Or is it kinda unknown. Darnold could be really good. Maybe he knows what to do and his end of the year meltdown was a huge learning chip.
My real problem with Geno came down to is he a leader and I don’t think he inspires wall smashing desire to win
