See all of you hurt his feelings and he left, HOPE YOUR HAPPY NOW!!

He was chatting with Pete all last season and off season till well maybe till he was hired and technically could not anymore, John was hoping to find his replacement younger and less expensive, don't think that was disrespect as much as looking forward from Johns point of view but from Genos yeah I could see it as a they don't believe in me. Seems like a lot of players get that perception. Its reality and business. Look at Wilson getting butt hurt over John going and watching QB's pro days.

Pete I am sure was instrumental in bringing him to Seattle, he has a comfort level with Pete, Pete getting Raiders job and reaching out in some way made it a done deal if money was even close.

Now watch the Raiders draft Sanders.

Felt disrespected by getting paid a hundred million dollars, being the team captain and named the starting quarterback all by the team that believed in you and gave you your second chance?

Give me a break. He never won a playoff game. Man's got such a massive ego for such a mid QB.

I felt disrespected when you kept on throwing red zone interceptions last season. But I’m glad he’s going to where he’s happy and we’re moving forward.

Sam Darnold to rescue, young, outstanding leadership (according to Macdonald), Pro-bowler, 3rd overall pick.

13-4 here we come!

I would love to hear the pro Geno guys take on this, and this isn't snarky I'm genuinely curious. This is why many of us weren't huge fans of his while he was here and he proves it.

Do you think Pete 'recruited' Geno to backup Wilson? I thought Wilson brought Geno in as backup as Geno's record up to that point wasn't threatening to Wilson's job security.

I always speculate that Geno was a Wilson guy, then he moved on to become a Pete guy. Schneider wanted Lock, but Geno ruined that plan. Schneider wanted Howell, but Geno again out-compete him too.

Pure speculations.

Geno….. so entitled. I demand to be treated like I’m elite even though I am not. I am blessed with God given talent and I deserve to get paid… I mean everyone wants to get paid. I want to get paid again…

We did not disrespect him. Toffee thinks we did. Maybe GeNo coulda played here till he was forty and we could almost make it a bunch of times. How much would you invest in that future.

He said he was mad about no guaranteed money in the second year… prove you deserve a second year… or… a first?

The crazy thing about geno beating them out was that the other two never got a chance to develop and see what could be. Geno is all the way at his peak we know what it is, but he was just good enough to take the job from two undeveloped prospects

Dude needs to look in the mirror. The Hawks were the ONLY team that gave him a chance. Take your disrespect, Geno, and shove it. Ungrateful, spoiled turd.
Dude was a little above average and is acting like he's top tier. So entertaining. Gas up the Waaaaaahmbulance.

I'm tired of this.

I'm going to pretend EVERYTHING you say is not sarcastic in any way.

btw, Geno wanted to be massively overpaid.

He wanted a Retirement Contract which the Hawks weren't willing to give.

He thought he would be getting that in Vegas....and it turns out he's getting only slightly more than Darnold.

That's just hilarious.

I respect your opinion, @Maelstrom787 and @keasley45 can rebut with football perspectives, something I couldn't do with my limited football knowledge.

Yeah they always do a good job at that and then I feel like I don’t know nothing but then I remember oh yeah I got two eyes… I also got seven kids and I know when they’re acting like brats

Oh and I respect your opinion too. And keasley and mael. Both smart football fans. I have a hard time justifying my opinion sometimes talking with you guys

In college, decades ago, I roomed with a HUGE dude who got kicked off our varsity football team, a SEC powerhouse. He played center but was too big and slow, lol, we did all kinds of things together, just didn't talk much about football. I would have learned a thing or two if we did.

Toffee you know plenty
I played touch football with him once, lol, the fat boy caught me from behind. To teach his mouthy roommate a lesson, he tackled me or gave me a push from behind. lmao, that ended my football 'career'.
