Trade DK & Geno to the Raiders for.
#37 in the 2nd &
#68 in the 3rd in 25'.
LV has two 3rd rounders.

Or ask for the Raiders 2026 1st.

This would save around 42M in cap room and put us closer to finding our QBOTF.

Fair enough. Just like my former nicknames, very appropriate ✌️
I do like the ones you came up with, no need to not use them if you
want.
I created Me3 and damn right I use it every time :D
He makes it so easy too, posting a vid on X throwing passes with Heaps
looking on and stating he's ready to go!
It's only Feb 23rd and he's auditioning for everyone - :ROFLMAO:

Me3 is as cringe as my former nicknames for Geno. I can't see Pete wanting to go down that road at all though. Also, way past his prime.

It's still entertaining to see people lose their minds over the guy 3 plus years later though. Solid.
This is .NET, home of Russellettes.

Oh, absolutely, assuming the meaning of "successful" has been recently amended to include motivating teams to become desperate to move on from you.
He was supposed to go away some time ago, right? Yet he's finding employment and taking the starting job where ever he is. Good for him. Anyway, I'm hoping the Seahawks find a good long term QB.

There should have been a 4th option in the polling question: None of the above.

As I mentioned in a similar thread, I don't think that the Raiders will be looking to fill the QB position with a 35+ year old veteran. It doesn't make a lot of sense as they are not like the Steelers were last year when they were perceived as being a player or two away from a championship team and brought in Russell to try to upgrade the position and get them over the hump. The Raiders have had 3 consecutive losing seasons, last year being close to rock bottom at 4-13.

I think Pete plays the long game and drafts Sanders. And as far as the RW rumors go, I just can't see Pete going back to him considering their past plus I really doubt Chip Kelly wants to deal with Me3 drama either.

Per Vinny at Las Vegas Review (he used to be the beat writer for the StL Rams, now does the Raiders) -

The Raiders have emerged as a front-runner among multiple teams to acquire Stafford in a trade with the Rams, who gave him permission to speak with other teams to gauge his financial market outside of Los Angeles. No deal is imminent.

Brady has helped spearhead the Raiders’ pursuit of Stafford by selling him on the merits of joining him, new coach Pete Carroll and new general manager John Spytek in Las Vegas. Brady’s meeting with Stafford in Montana raised questions about whether tampering rules were violated because Stafford is still under contract with the Rams.

Stafford, 37, and the Rams are at an impasse on a new contract. He is believed to be seeking a new deal that pays him $50 million per season. It’s uncertain whether he will reach that mark, but NFL sources indicate the Raiders and Stafford’s camp have found common ground on financial parameters.

It’s about coming to terms with the Rams on trade compensation at this point.

You think about it and it makes sense if they do, Stafford has a good deep ball, Raiders have always since inception stretched the field, an Al Davis trait and invention, the vertical game. Pete learned a lot from Al also, believes in the run setting up the shots. Good possession TE and receiver as well to get 1st downs. Stafford can use the whole field. Pete also needs and wants to win now, no plan down the road, he knows he won't be there and winning now they can build on. Stafford is a natural leader also, his guys would run thru a brick wall in Detroit for him and I have heard nothing less in L.A.
