Experience aside, it's cool and isn't some lame rhyme scheme.

A little iffy on it. A bit strong of a lean towards violence for my taste.

The "Death Zone" isn't something I would want to identify with. And, little to wordy as well.

"The Abyss" would be a far superior description of Macdonald's Defense.

You can't force a nickname.

I don’t know who started it but I think it was DK who mentioned it this week.

I’m not a fan of the word death in a nickname but I’d definitely prefer squad over zone if it goes in that direction

I think that was already used by the Patriots TE room.

It speaks to the youth of our defense though. You don't get to pick your own nickname...

Which is why I don't have a name patch on my leather biking vest. BTW, whenever you see someone who's patch says "Diesel" it's because he once put diesel in his motorcycle's gas tank.

sounds pretentious

NGZ.. No go zone be better.

Poster said it best, you can't force a nickname.. anything forced, sounds Well, forced and contrived.

Besides, it's a small sample that we've seen.. lets see how it goes next year.

It probably sounds cool to them, but if somebody got seriously injured or.., it might lose its appeal. Maybe the DMZ or Iron Gate would be better..idk.

“Death Zone” is what has been gaining traction so be it I guess. I’ve said my preferences hitching the D to the MacDonald wagon.

The Farm. The Barn. Or The Slaughterhouse.

Sorry, but isn't this what Jones just called the stretch of games that were going through at the moment? Not the name of the defense?
