A play off win is a play off win... as I remember it there wasn't anyone in the world that thought the Hawks were going to beat the saints... it was a glorious win no matter how you look at it.

Actually I don't have a problem with Reed taking it to Hall. That's veteran leadership... that's what vets are supposed to do. I have no problem with that I've seen the Hawks D to that for years... it's the sign of a healthy locker room.

Well...I can remember that it happened with Wagner in a game a long time ago... but mostly it happened in practice and in the locker room...it was Carroll thing... being who you are and being accountable.

I remember players fighting and injuring each other under Carrol. I also remember players going after coaches. I remember Earl Thomas flipping off Carrol. Good grief we have some selective memories when we want to be negative and find things wrong with the current era.
Carrol often did not seem to have control of his team. they were often undisciplined and error prone and flag prone. Its time to get over Carrol he isn't coming back for us OR ANY OTHER TEAM!!!

That loss to Chicago was much closer than it looks. Like all Pete division games we let them get out to an early lead. But Big Play Babs missed two critical game changing plays. Cutler threw it right at him on the goal line, but Babs dropped the pick six, and the bears got a TD soon after. Later on a third down Babs missed Cutler and he got the first down extending the drive to a TD instead of a field goal. That's a 14 point swing play followed by a 4 point play. But not.

In what world was Earl Thomas flipping off our coach ever a good commentary on the health of our program? That's a pretty bad example.
