I think a lot more house cleaning is required. In that vein, if I were MM, I would ask who actually wants to play and start the players who put their hands up the fastest. This is probably also one of the (many) reasons I am not an NFL coach, but in my opinion the tumor is showing itself to be too big for a scalpel. Time to chop off the limb.

The board wanted a better D... they fired Carroll because schematically the coaching was not performing.

From my perspective this team has better players than Carroll had but I don't see this team performing any better than Carroll's D.

Obviously it was not coaching that was Carroll's problem... MacDonalds D schemes are NOT any better.

So what is the problem? 😆

From my perspective this team does NOT have better players than Carroll, because they let veterans go...

Obviously it was coaching that was Carroll's problem. That's why he got let go. He had a barely winning team the last 3-4 years, that honestly took advantage of injuries from other teams as it sometimes made it's way to the playoffs and then get exposed that the team was never going to compete.

MacDonalds schemes may or may not be better, but it's been half of a season as his first year. PC took 2 seasons to start showing what he was capable of. Any new coach needs the same patience of 2-3 seasons to put together their vision, unless they come out of the game and start off 1-7, then that's a clear cut sign the coach is no good (or the reverse if they come out blazing 6-2 against quality opponents).

I don't know if MM is going to turn this ship around, but I also can't say he's bad yet either. I do know keeping PC around was not going to amount to anything more than what we have seen the last 4+ years. A team that barely gets in the playoffs and then gets BOUNCED in 1-2 games.

So what's the problem...the problem is as a fan 1) not being patient and 2) accepting a good team vs wanting a GREAT team (which means sometimes you gotta take risks and watch losing seasons).

And if you're talking about what IS the problem with this team losing right now...and not looking good. There is no problem, it just is...a team that does not have great talent and has a brand new coaching staff. This is part of the process. This season is meant to evaluate talent that stays/goes next year, evaluate plays that can be executed, or needs to be thrown out. As well as slowly getting who is staying understanding the system/scheme, so they can be the veterans on the field for the incoming new people.

How did I trash the team? I asked a simple reasonable question... you attach me... all I asked was what is the problem with this team...

And even so I have the RIGHT to question the teams decision making...

The only one who is being a jerk is you!

Yeah ....I question the decision to get rid of Pete Carroll... I thought he should have had another year... that doesn't make me narcissistic that makes me a FAN who is NOT happy about that decision... I think we are going to be looking at decades of losing football because of that choice and I don't give a crap what you think about it because my opinion is every bit as relevant as yours!
So get off your high horse OLY...

WHAT!!! Have you been a fan for a long time or are you a newly bandwagoner. Pete's first year was HORRENDOUS. They literally got blown out every single game. The second year was no better. The third year it started to come together.
I’ve been a fan a long time, I’m just wrong a lot and I have rose colored glasses that I wear whenever it fits my narrative
