The first 4 Dune books are incredible and 5 is excellent as long as you understand it's 10,000 years later after the first 4 books.

Wow. Most people I talk to have decided the series stops at 3. I don't share your opinion on the 5th, but God Emperor is probably my favorite. Maybe if Herbert had lived to finish his story I'd like the books after that more.

Don't make the false assumption that Taylor Swift has nothing to do with the cameramen focusing in on her. If she didn't like it or considered it an invasion of her privacy, she could easily instruct her handlers to pressure the network into keeping their prying eyes away from her. But she knows full well that all that exposure helps enhance her brand and adds to her fortune. She's a willing party to all the attention and exposure they're giving her.

I saw where the total amount of time that Taylor was shown was 55 seconds. That doesn't sound like a lot, but when it's all 3 or 4 second shots, they're flashing her in front us quite often. If it wasn't for her overuse of make-up, particularly that firehouse red lipstick, I wouldn't be that put off by her as they have a ton of stupid distractions, including those hideous commercials. I just roll my eyes and chuckle thinking of all the people who actually like seeing her that often.

Exactly. To anyone who has watched a lot of sporting events over the years, the amount of times they cut to Taylor Swift is way beyond anything we have seen before. Jessica Simpson or whoever that was is a good comparison, but I don't think it came close.

I think it makes sense to cut to celebrity reactions in the crowd, but when it's one celebrity over and over and over and over and over and over again, whereas every other celebrity were shown like once, it starts getting cringe.

And 55 seconds? I'm guessing that doesn't include the post game. There was at least 55 seconds in the post game alone. I was wondering if the cameras were gonna follow her and Kelce into the bedroom and watch them ****.

Keep in mind the NFL is all about revenue. If Taylor Swift brings another million fans to the game, that means less paywalls and blackouts for the rest of us.

I'll admit that I can see why she garners so much attention. She has an appearance, mannerisms, facial expressions, etc that are downright adorable. Ever notice how video clips of puppies and kittens get hundreds of millions of views? It's kind of the same thing.

I didn't make it to #5. The first three were great, but then #4 got to be a bit much and hard to get through. Maybe I'll give it another try. The first two were epic, maybe my favorite of all I've ever read. And then in the third, picturing Atreides as a Worm God Emperor was so srange, and awesome. Cool too that Herbert was a Tacoma native.

I think he's riding this high of attention and dating the most popular celebrity in the world to a point where he's acting a bit different than he otherwise would. I thought that was very cringy too. The look on her face when he was screaming was not one of adoration I thought. More like, oh man, am I really with this doofus? Kind of an odd pairing if you ask me.
