In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
You are an individual, I was talking in broad strokes generalities. Most of the heat I've seen about her stems from RW sources and media. Nice to see you do you and not follow that herd. :)

Personally, I try to separate my politics from my fandom of celebs and their art. Hard to do sometimes, but not always. Life's too short.
I ran into a seething pack of the ones you're talking about, and.... Ladies & gentlemen, we got ourselves a kernspeericeee! Folks are talkin bout strappin' up 😔😭

😂 Man, I don't really know if we'll EVER see a "normal" election cycle again. I think we're fully stuck in the mud... rocking back n forth, spinning our collective wheels..flinging mud, elephant and donkey shit all over the place. Sometimes I just feel like "**** it. Lord, send the BIG meteor." 🥴

For all you conspiracy theorists out there who are convinced that the NFL "steers" games, do you think that they will try to "steer" the Chiefs-Ravens game so that an extra 10 million or so will tune into the SB to see Taylor Swift?

And I have a follow up question: Taylor Swift wears enough red lipstick to graffiti a 100-car freight train. Am I the only man that doesn't find her attractive? Kissing her would be like kissing a clown.
Taylor Swift eerily reminds me a of a modern day Marilyn Monroe.
That dark red lipstick doesn't match her for some reason to me.Maybe to much of a contrast difference from her hair and skin tone? But whatevers lol

Good observation about the likeness of Swift to Monroe, although there are some significant differences. Marylin Monroe was much more of a sexpot, both in her attire and her demeanor. But yes, they both have the red lipstick and light skin color in common.

As I've mentioned, her liberal use of that heavy, dark red lipstick is a total turnoff for me. It reminds me too much of a clown face.

I'm annoyed with how much she's cut to during games and discussed. It's excessive. It's not sexist, though that's a really popular stance a lot of people are taking right now. I'd still be annoyed with it if it was one of my favorite male musicians. I watch football for football, not commercials or celebrity worship.
Be careful...apparently there only 18 minutes of actual football and if you don't like the rest maybe you should stop watching...well that's what was suggested on another thread...

Like all 5 seconds shut up and do your at home internet tech job.
I'm fully annoyed by guys like you so are we even?
I'm fully angry I can't work in my underwear while protecting misogynistic men like you.

Some of us (First Responders etc) actually don't have the option to work from home. And worse you are saying this hatred and jealously on a Taylor Swift thread? Do you see me EVER mention Taylor on a football thread? Didn't think so but I'm done with assholes blaming her for the NFL showing her when Travis makes a good play or whenever nothing is actually happening.

How about the Seahawk's get actual OC/DC and run something not junior high? Give the NFL something real to talk about.
You see misogyny everywhere because you want to. Go ahead, make yourself feel better by thinking I'm sexist. You don't even realize it, but stances like yours CONTRIBUTE to the actual problem of sexism.

I think sexism is like racism. It’s there. It exists. To deny it is just silly mind games we dudes play with ourselves because we’re either defensive or insecure about it.

With that being said, I think people get burnt out by incessantly bringing these things to attention in a less than genuine manner. Meaningful discussions are helpful; constant discontent is not. And I’m speaking from both sides.

As a middle aged white privileged male there are a lot of things I’ve never had to think about in society. Or be fearful of. Or….or…..

Shit maybe I got it wrong. I don’t think chivalry is dead but I also get confused when I’m supposed to be chivalrous versus not enabling. It’s so confusing.

I’d rather be a dog. Or a chicken. Geese seem to have fun.

It’s weird though. How many times was Eminem shown and not a peep from anyone. Trying to figure out why but I bet we all have an idea.

Yep it sure does exist but there are so many people out there that love to utilize these words instantly to support their stance when it doesn't even apply...why because the sensitive buzz words is a ploy to somehow strenghthen their argument. Someone who says I'm sick of seeing Swift on TV during games is quickly labeled a sexist misogynistic racist anti vaxxer who supports murder in the 3rd world and probably like Twitter better than Facebook and drive V8 cars with the sole purpose to destroy the ozone layer.

Actually he wasn't on there that much. Excluding the last game where he sat in a box in SF.. he just sat in the stands with a hat on. If they kept showing him every time Detroit scored I'd be saying the same thing...why is this person on TV? I even got tired of seeing that fake plant of a Chargers fans after 10 minutes...Nothing wrong with showing who is at the game and showing random fans ( except Mr and Mrs seahawk) but Swift is a completely different agenda.

This whole Taylor thing is going to pass much like the Aaron and Danika thing did, yawn it's just there because she's popular as are the Chiefs, Jack Nicholson was shown for a bit on every broadcasted Lakers games for years.

People are way to ready to be overly sensitive to anything and everything these days, wish the country would grow a pair again and not want to chastise everyone and everything that doesn't do things the way they do or how they want them done.

If the agenda is making more money I don’t see it as a different agenda. The nfl is taking advantage of an opportunity. Now if she is a psyop who was created in a lab called Obama then maybe. I bet the agendas get more outlandish as time marches on.

If you want to feel like the Seahawks contributed to the way the world shaped out, remember that with the 62nd pick of the 2013 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks selected Christine Michael.

Who was the 63rd pick you ask? Only one Travis Kelce.

Show me a regular season game, not Super Bowl or playoff game, where one non-athlete got as much coverage (audio and video forms) as Taylor Swift did each week she attended a Chiefs regular season game.

I may die of old age before you find one.

It doesn’t bother me so I’m not too concerned about it.
