Adams came out and explained his controversial social media post. Hopefully, this will dispense with the concussion excuses:

“It’s always the athlete that crossed the line when he responds. But at the end of the day, disrespect is disrespect, however you want to take it,” Adams said. “So, I responded. I knew when I did hit that Tweet, I wasn’t in it to win it. At the end of the day it was to get him to understand, ‘Leave me the hell alone.’”

Then Adams said: “When others go low, I go lower.”

When other go low, I go lower? WTF is that for a philosophy? What ever happened to "take the high road"?

If he hadn’t said the last line it wouldn’t be as bad but that just ruined the whole thing. No clue what he was thinking there lol

Yeah, and the last line was pretty unambiguous. But I have a clue what he was thinking about. He doesn't give a rat's ass who he hurts along the way so long as he gets back at whoever it was that insulted him. In Adams' mind, the end justifies the means.

The funny thing is, now he opened himself up to constant trolling. If his fragile multi-million dollar ego can't deal with that reporter, just wait...

I had a guy on twitter arguing over and over that it wasn’t wrong. Rob Staton hammered him even lol

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. Oh well, I guess it’s a good thing some of your bosses, managers, etc. aren't able to read your posts on here. I would hate for you to lose your jobs and render you unable to pay the rent for

I specifically told my boss not to visit these forums for that exact reason

And/or…Pete has truly lost the players as well.
I guess we'll see. I think they're largely playing with good effort considering the slide they've been on. DK's giving big effort, Geno seems to be maintaining his psyche, and the defense isn't bad for lack of effort.

I think Jamal's just one of those different cats, personally. Not that his conduct isn't very concerning.

I'd bench his ass for a game. He needs to show remorse and own it, and then he can get back on. Protect the team - tenet one. Unacceptable to be talked to and then refute the HC's public statement on the situation where he tries to smooth the mess over.

I'm a noted fan of Jamal on the field. I believe in him more than others, because I think he elevates the team in a way that others don't. But this isn't championship conduct, and it needs to be dealt with expeditiously.

Protect. the. team.

I was ok with the “Yikes” he posted with the reporters wife. I wouldn’t have done it but…tbh…I thought it would be a non-issue. There’s so much worse out there…

But, to refute what the HC says…it certainly elevates it to another ‘level’.

They’ve invested so much into this guy…a little respect for the team would go a long ways…

It sure seemed like a thoroughly unprofessional, juvenile cheap shot to me. I mean...geez. Grow up.

Pete wont do a damn thing other than make excuses for him. I hope Jody steps in and does something.

I don't, and I don't think you really want that either. For hating Jody's ownership so much, a lot of people sure do want her to act like Dan Snyder and start meddling in football affairs instead of bankrolling the team and letting the real professionals handle the football operations.

You don't want that. Nobody wants what that sort of meddlesome action entails.

An owner definitely has the right to step in for this kind of idiotic conduct if pete doesnt do anything. Dan Snyder was an idiot owner who wouldnt have done anything regarding this. He only meddles when it benefits him.
