I'm not willing to include Jody in this. As much as you want her to be a tool for upheaval, it makes no goddamn sense for an elderly woman who inherited the team to look at anything other than Seattle being a stable and generally win-heavy franchise over the past decade in terms of staff retention decisions.

Is she probably a bad person? Yeah, she smuggles endangered animal skeletons out of safaris for sport. She's a rich psychopath like most owners. But it's a good precedent that she isn't usurping the football operations of the team on a whim. Let's stay on planet Earth.

Pete needs to make 2017-style changes to right this ship, and goddamn quickly. That's TWICE we've been embarrassed this year, just taken behind the shed and dominated. And once by our biggest rival, probably yet again the week after next.

Geno's done. I'll always be a fan of him, his story, and his style of play when he's on. But it's time to look to the future, and I'm sure they know that. Draft pick or Cousins.

It's a mix of coaching (play calling), QB & O-line.

This team has plenty of talent in skill positions & on the defensive side of the ball.

The lack of depth (o-line) is showing up. As you have a 41 year old Jason Peters & Forsythe both splitting reps at Right Tackle for crying out loud. Meanwhile, the interior of the line is made up of guys who are league average to below average talentwise.

While Geno is somewhat limited in what he can do. He's fairly good in structure. But when a play breaks down & he has to improvise, that's when things become an issue.

There were multiple plays where Geno took a sack with guys open. It’s easy to blame them but we had plays in front of us and just didn’t execute.

We had a chance until geno folded when we needed him to play his best , could have gotten within 4 , but he does what geno does holds on to the ball too long … then our d let them score and it was a 14 point shift with just one touch down … then geno we pretty much gave up once we ran out of shotgun formation on 4th and inches , which basically made it like 4th and 5 but hey what do I know … maybe one day our team will too …

Now this is the second QB that does that in this offense? Could it be that the QBs are discouraged to throw in the middle?
I mean, if you never throw in the middle and the reins are pulled in as soon as a couple of interceptions happen, how are you gonna learn from you mistakes. You do not learn much by playing it safe EVERY SINGLE DAMNED TIME!!

The Offensive Coordinator position with the Seattle Seahawks is just a puppet position with no real authority. They are just Pete's mouthpiece, nothing more. It's just like how Goodell isn't the one actually responsible for anything of import in the NFL, he's just a mouthpiece for the owners...but tons of fans think Goodell is a "huge problem" for the NFL, and similarly, a lot of people think our offensive coordinator is the one to blame for our consistently dull offenses.

This is PC's obsession. 3 OC's start off hot and look great, then all of a sudden we see the same crap everytime, The long ball... to setup the run? lol Instead of just going for whats given and what works Pete would rather force a square peg through a round hole than to have it all match and mesh together.
