Where do you get "pass heavy" from that. Sounds quite the opposite to me. Even in a pass heavy scheme, he ran the ball effectively, and he's an o-line guy at heart. O-line guys love mauling defenders in the run game, instead of taking the punishment in the passing game.

Yeah the only way someone gets pass heavy from the interview is if they weren't really paying attention and assumed Grubb would be implementing Washingtons offense with no adjustments, which is the opposite of what MacDonald said

I didn't get that he wants to be pads heavy from that interview. Aggressive, yes. But pass heavy? No. Running a pass heavy offense would be counter to everything a defensive minded coach would want to create. Defenses are better when their offenses control the ball.
