Word around NFL is that when Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson get new deals next year, they will come in between $24-$25 million per year.

Keep in mind Wilson is the same guy who claimed he wanted to own a sports franchise.
Not doing that on less than 20mil a year

I read that but that can be done and still be cap friendly. So lets say they extension part of the contract is 6 years 150mil or 25 mil a year. That is really 7 years at 126mil counting Rw last year on his current contract, the equals out to only 18 mil a year over 7 years.

Honestly, with the salary cap expected to escalate, RW getting 6/144 wouldn't even make me blink. I'd be okay with it.

Sticking by my story

He's going to pull a Brady and take a team friendly deal.

He wants to be the greatest of all time, and he knows he needs the tools around him. One of us will eat crow. I'm betting its not me and you all should hope its not me.

Are you willing to put some numbers to your story? "Team friendly" is quite a gray area. What kind of terms do you expect RW to take? If this is going to be an "eating crow" situation next year, we should figure out where the line is.
