With a competent play caller, the Seahawks might have a chance to win the division right now. Bevell is a joke.
Maybe you should pick another team to root for. The Hawks have set the gold standard for winning in the NFC and to not recognize Bevell as being a team builder to get to that mode and keep it there is just being obtuse.

In spite of Bevell, with Russell Wilson's extraordinary skill set and Pete Carroll's phenomenal defense.

Speak for yourself. I seriously doubt you will remain a Seahawks fan now that Tarvaris "wife beater" Jackson is gone, & The Chimp is on the verge of getting the ax.

Quick question. Do you think having less than 140 yards on offense is the result of a good gameplan?

If you do not, at the very least, question the shit show of an offense that was put on yesterday then a rational conversation can not be had. I'm fine with someone defending a player or coach on our team but where is the line drawn.

Here is another quick question, if you support Bevell, what would it take for you to say, ok its time for him to go? If the answer is never (which seems to be the case to some) your rationale is deeply flawed.

The “in spite of” line clearly signals you have no idea what you are trying to convey and have let this argument slip away. Bev was there and got the job done and the franchise recognizes that and rallies around him. Your other comment just shows juvenile maturity and your agenda to propagate false information.

I believe in the Hawks brand of getting things done and the Hawks offense did just that Sunday by finishing strong to pull out the W. Bottom line is it helped us get the win; the rest is for fantasy players, and that’s inconsequential to the team pursuits.

Maybe if we didnt rip on Bevell so much he wouldnt feel the need to spend all his time here defending himself and could work on drawing up a real offense.

Bevell would have been fired years ago without the escapability and playmaking ability of Russell Wilson (and Brett Favre before him).

Every OC is what his talent makes him, and every QB needs to improvise. But Wilson has taken it to another level. He and Favre, two of the most brilliant, have so covered up Bevell's merely-competent scheme that...yeah, I have no further words. Bevell is nothing special. Wilson is.

Bevell has had some moments and some games. But not enough. How much of his play-calling is really Pete's philosophy remains to be seen, but Bevell has done little to secure himself a place with the greats.

So less than 140 yards on offense is a good thing? How about less than 70 yards going into the 4th? Just making sure, apparently I don't know what good offense looks like
