Pete to LA Chargers?

There’s an SI.com article saying it was simply PC quietly reaching out the the Chargers.

I think our best outcome is if Pete stays in his advisor role. There are dozens of coaching aspects, and Pete is very skilled in many of them. He knows the NFL, he knows college, etc. I am okay with the decision to let him go as HC, but whoever we hire may need an advisor like Pete to help bridge the gap with any shortcomings/difficulties they may have.

I doubt we see PC coach again.

Maybe wishful thinking? It would be cool for him to stay in the organization but, his “football people” comment may have closed that window.
