Just wondered if they would mind posting their rosters here for convenience. Up to them of course. And that also means any other team that has posters here.

I will do ours tomorrow. It has a few surprises.

Only 3 CB's on the roster for example. there were a few surprises to say the least. 2 UDFA's won spots on the roster as well which is exciting. We kept a lot of OL do to the TWO game suspension of Massie, and the Iupati injury. Including Sowell who couldn't even play at a college level let alone a Pro level but he should be released week 3 of the season.

Sowell Will be released when Massie comes back from suspension. I would have to assume we will be trying to find another CB by Monday since we only have 3 on the roster. We are carrying a lot more OL because of injuries/suspension which should be whittled down by week 2/3 of the season.

A few of us are a little surprised by some of the cuts and how the roster has shaped out.

I think the one most of are most upset about is that not one of us thought Butler would still be our kicker. 31st in the league in distance and net yards. There is a pro bowl Punter just released from Miami that was a cap casualty. Even if we didn't sign him there has to be someone that can kick the ball more than 36 yds down the field and not shank one for under 30 at least once a game.

We cut all the CB's it seems. Down to 3, we did have a few really difficult decisions to make at Safety (our deepest position) and the DL. I was surprised to see that we didn't get anybody off waivers but I am assuming some of that could have been a result of picking as far back as we did on the waiver line.

I know a lot of our fans feel we can really make a run this year but I am just not sold on the team. We are paper thin at ILB, to the point we are using one of our Safeties Buccanon as a LB. He is only around 220lbs. Another Safety Mathieu I am assuming will be filling in as a slot corner like he has in the past. But the fact that the ILB issue was not addressed is a huge red flag again. Last year we had to send 6 on every play and even then still had a hard time getting pressure on the QB. I expect more of that this year which is the problem. Our Cb's will again be asked to do a lot, and after losing Cromartie they might not be the same quality as last year.

We obviously got a lot more talent on the Offensive side of the ball by upgrading the line (When Massie comes back from suspension and Iupati comes back) Upgraded the W/R position, and RB as well. But this team has been more of a defensive minded team the last few years and I still believe that is the more important side of the ball

Are they giving David Johnson any run this season or are they going to hide him behind Ellington and C. Johnson? Who do you have stepping in if Ellington gets hurt or underperforms?

Good thread Ringless. As usual you bring quality stuff despite being a Cardinal fan. I assume you're mother dropped you on your head or something worse like Chinese water torture. So I don't hold it against you.

And good stuff Alice and Will49.

Reynolds' roster spot was never in doubt. He's the best special teams player on the roster. Might as well move him down with the punter, kicker and long snapper under the category of "ST". He will be a Ram for a long time.

Keeping Darrel Williams over Battle was a big surprise. I assume they did this because they don't think a team will take Battle off the practice squad, seeing as he is not ready for the NFL.

I had high hopes for Barrett Jones, but it appeared he just didn't have the frame to hold up in the NFL. Like our CBs, but always think it's weird when a team only has 4. In our case though, JL and Tree will be on the field for the majority of the defensive snaps, which means most will only see 3 CBs on the field at once. Surprised that Marquez made it, but heard he was making a lot of plays in camp. 10 OL and 8 DL was needed, but still a bit surprised that Trinca-Pasat didn't make it.
