How many playoff wins have the Commanders had since that draft? Are we seriously advocating for following the lead of a dysfunctional franchise?
No we're not.

But If you find something that shows taking two QBs in the same draft hinders their development, and creates a "messy" situation let me know.

If Richardson somehow fell to #20 and PC/JS loved him enough to consider at #5, I'd sure hope to walk away with the two QBs.

The fact that the Titans, Commanders, Bucs and Hawks all chose not to take him with a mid/late 1st says a lot.

Yeah this obviously was wrong. I also get the distinct feeling that John and Pete are not Levis fans, or we'd have taken him at 20. I still won't be surprised to see us take one of the top ten QB prospects today, but I doubt it will be Levis.

I want Hendon Hooker, or failing that Clayton Tune or Tanner McKee.

Well, the thread wasn't actually wrong - it was just about what the betting odds were doing.

The odds ended up being pants-on-fire wrong, though

It's basic organizational dynamics, and a basic matter of there only being so many reps (plus the fact that only one player can start at the spot in regular season action). It'd make absolutely zero sense, which is why no one would ever do it.

He was advocating for something much worse, to be fair.

RGIII in the 1st and Cousins in the 5th, not a bad haul if you're going to draft two QBs in the same draft. Too bad about RGIII's knee.

I'd still put money that Levis is the 2nd best QB in this draft. He's supposedly falling because of his toe injury, and teams thought he was too cocky.

I think that's possible while at the same time it's possible this this is a really bad QB draft outside of Young.

Not how odds work really. The sportsbooks aren't making a prediction with those lines, they are trying to get people to bet one way or the other based on how the money has come in.

You would've picked an ILB (who ended up being taken in the 3rd round) over Richardson in this scenario. You should probably lay low for a while.

That guy on Reddit who single-handedly made the odds go crazy with just a rumor with zero connection or proof has got to be chuckling to himself right now
Guy probably works for the books and they were testing how much money they could make off suckers who fell for it.

Says the man who'd take two quarterbacks in the first for absolutely zero good reason.

Yeah, I'll stick around, genius.
Zero good reason to take potential elite QBs Young/Stroud and Richardson, but a 3rd round ILB for sure worth it!

Dunning Kruger in full effect, genius.
